Sometimes we face challenges that seem to be larger than life. Sometimes we wonder, "Dear God, how can I handle this?" Sometimes we're fearful, hesitant to make that move, or don't move forward because we are afraid to fail.

At times like those is when we need to remember that God won't give us a challenge that we can't handle. Nothing is bigger than Our Lord. He walks with us and at times when we can't go on, he carries us. Carry on in His Name.

Don't worry about what you can't control. He Can!

Pray and believe in Our Father.

I'm sitting here on the air tonight (Wednesday) thinking about how our jingle sings, "Positive Hits"...and thinking about how much negative there is all around us. As I've said on the air, we can't eliminate the negative, but we can SURELY dilute it with POSITIVE!

So, I decided to share with you 10 motivational quotes from some people you may know, and I've thrown in another 5 of my own in hopes that they'll inspire you to reach your goal, overcome your fears, keep moving forward, or give you the courage to keep after your dreams!

I know that sometimes we feel somber, quiet, or deep in thought. Maybe it's because we're troubled, a lot is happening around us, or things seem to be challenging in this chapter of our life.

It's times like those that I turn it all over to God.

I know we are who and what we are are because of His Grace.

When I saw this I wanted to share it with you because I felt like there's someone (maybe you) reading this, who REALLY needs it.

Let's ask him for healing and to be saved.

However, sometimes we ask The Lord for something we believe we want or need...Then Our Farther graces us with it.

Let's NOT FORGET to pray and thank Him for it, accept it in His name and give Him praise for it afterwards...

God directs us in Hebrews 13:16 “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

God sees what’s in our hearts and knows that when we give from the heart, it comes from our soul, which is what he teaches us.

What's the MOST BEAUTIFUL thing you've ever seen?! I know some of you guys will post a pic of your wife or girlfriend to get some "points" (lol)...can't blame you...BUT...you know what I mean!

Maybe you know that this past week our family went on an Alaska cruise. We'd NEVER been there, but we saw some of God's amazing work. The majestic mountains, beautiful glimmering sunlit glaciers, a forest in the midst of a snow covered mountain and so much more.

I pulled this picture because I was awestruck when I got to see this (Mendenhall) Glacier...and the majesty of its immenseness.

BUT...I'd LOVE to see pictures of what YOU have seen that you feel is the most BEAUTIFUL thing YOU'VE ever seen?! Please post them here where we can all share in the beauty that God has created for us!

As you may know, my family is on an Alaskan cruise vacation. I’m trying to bring you as much of it as I can. Yesterday we saw something amazing. This is a double edged sword. It’s called calving. It’s when a piece of a glacier or iceberg breaks off and falls into the water. It’s amazing to see and you have to be blessed to catch it. Got to not only see it live, but to record it as well. Check it out!

Today’s adventure was in Ketchikan, Alaska. Went into town and saw a few sights. It’s a quiet little town, so there’s really not much to see. But still beautiful.

Come along for the ride! So today, we took a boat to an island, hiked almost a mile to a canoe, paddled to another island, switched to a different canoe then paddled to a glacier. Then did the same in reverse to get back! We saw sea lions, eagles, a porcupine, a dozen or so eagles and whales and more waterfalls, unbelievable views and made great memories! God does beautiful work, doesn’t he?!

Yesterday we began our Alaska Adventure early in the morning by flying in to Seattle to spend the night. Rode their mass transit rail system, went past their baseball stadium and then went down to the Public Market at the waterfront. Getting ready to head out to the port to board the Sun Princess. We’ll be in Alaska tonight!

I know a lot of us are “celebrating” Memorial Day on Monday. However, I’d like to call your attention to something many of us don’t think about much.

Though I’ve heard many say to me, “Thank you for your service,” during the roll up to Memorial Day, I’d like to clarify an issue that many of us don’t recognize. There is a dramatic difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

Veterans Day is when we show our appreciation to those veterans who have served our country.

Memorial Day is a day we remember, honor, and pay our respects to those who not only served, but made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our great nation.

I live in Oviedo, and there is a beautiful tribute there for our veterans that will be on display until next Friday (5/31/24) in case you are interested and would like to see it.

To those that served and are in Heaven, thank you.

And may God bless you…and America.

Today, I was inspired to share with you some verses I thought some of us (present company included) needed to read.

Sometimes when we're afraid, unsure, confused, or hesitant we need scripture to reassure us that God will be there for us. He will be our strength, our light, our guide through difficult times and our miracle.

Hopefully there's a verse or verses here that will reassure you (or someone you may know) to know that it's "going to be alright."

Please share this with someone you feel may need to read this to be reminded that Our God will be there for us and with us.

You may not know it, but I spent 4 1/2 years in the United States Marine Corps. I enlisted in December of 1979 during the Iran Hostage Crisis. Truth be told, that is why I signed up.

Though our Drill Instructors played "head games" with us during boot camp by telling us to pack our duffle bags because we were shipping out to Iran, and then would return a few minutes later to tell us that the "orders" were cancelled, I never saw combat duty. That's why I respect and admire those who have.

So that said, I have a special place in my heart for our veterans. Especially those Viet Nam vets who went thru so much when they came "home."

I ALWAYS make it a point to "thank" those I see wearing veteran hats, t-shirts, jackets for their service.

That's why this month is so special to me.

It's Military Appreciation Month, and here is where YOU come in.
Shout out those people in your family, your friends, neighbors, co-workers who are prior military, and let them know how much we appreciate them.

I'll be reading some of the names (as many as I can) on the air.

And if YOU are a Vet..."Thank you for your service! God bless."

To those who gave birth this year to their first child - we celebrate you.
To those who lost a child this year - we mourn with you.
To those who are in the trenches with little ones every day and wear the badge of food stains - we appreciate you.
To those who walk the hard path of infertility; fraught with pokes, prods, tears and disappointment - we walk with you. Please forgive us when we say foolish things. We don't mean to make this harder than it is.
To those who are foster moms, mentor moms, and spiritual moms - we need you.
To those who have warm and close relationship with your children - we celebrate with you.

This is really for the ladies...to help out us guys. Sunday is Mother's Day and some guys think that buying Mom a washer and dryer is a GREAT present...(BUZZER!) WRONG ANSWER! Yeah, we're as sharp as a meatball.

That's why we need you ladies to help us...because it's not too late until you buy her a new stove or a vacuum cleaner.

So, ladies...here's the question...What is a GOOD present that we (guys) could get our wives or ANY Mom for Mother's Day?

Florida is considered the number one state for education according to U.S. News and World Report.

As we wind down the end of another school year, I think we should say a big Thank You to the teachers here in Z-Land.

You have a hard job and IMHO get little praise and recognition for the extremely difficult and challenging job you do!

I saw this sign where I live in Oviedo and had to take a picture. I thought it was time to say Thank You, we appreciate you!
