Talk about serendipity! I was in London in the Summer of 1983 and saw this flyer at the B&B. Two friends and I tubed to St. Johns and attended this incredible event ( I had been in Number 2 at a Kate Bush session in 1980, but this was different, this was THE BEATLES!)
The things we heard and saw for the very first time were mind-blowing. Even the biscuits and (what appeared to be) Tang were delicious. I still have my shirt from the event ( it will never fit me again) and the Coffee Mug (which is too precious to use) What a memory!

All you need is love, but this needed Please Please Me and Strawberry Fields Forever. Still, it was the best selling album of the decade 2000-2010. And they weren't even playing Gruchblobs and Zachdungas.

This is what the easter Bunny brought me on Easter Sunday 1974. The New World Electronic Chamber Ensemble was a pet project of some of the musicians from Heart and the album was released on Heart's label, Mushroom Records. In 1974, it was a pretty cool listen. Thanks Bunny!

The question I get asked most often (well, after 'Do you want fries with that') is 'What's your favorite Beatles Album' I usually tell them it's whatever I'm listening to at the time' or say 'that's like asking which of my children is my favorite' (it's the good one) But from now on I'm just going to send them this.

Here is the perfect album cover to wish everyone a happy Palm Sunday! I always thought there should be 9 hands but I guess surrealism hadn't entered the album cover mindset yet. Here's a mind game, I'm certain I had this album, great cover and back cover, and a fantastic song line-up, before May 1965 but that's virtually impossible. I guess it will remain a sweet mystery of life.
