It’s international women’s day!!! A number of women have shaped my life. This would be the biggest impact, My Mom Kathleen Jensen. She taught me to love and care for the poor and the outcasts, even at a cost to herself. She taught me to welcome everyone, my friend Chris said he loved my family, he didn’t have much of a home but always felt loved and welcome at ours. My mom gave me my first encounters with God. My mom always encouraged me in my sports, even though she couldn’t watch because I was always trying to get killed 🥴 and I always knew I was loved and knew how to live because of her. Her nickname in our house is Saint Kathy, and she is one of my heroes.
