DSL CINE MAG is the first bilingual (Chinese/English) app-magazine on ‘Chinese New Cinema’, a vibrant new scene in contemporary China.
It is co-founded by DSLCollection and Kiki Tianqi Yu (PhD in film studies and media practice)). ‘Chinese New Cinema’ has played a compelling role in understanding the rapid transformation of Chinese society. The magazine focuses on various genres, from new documentary films to art-house/independents to feature films, and non-fiction avant-garde visual documentations from the beginning of 2000s.
