বাঙাল দিদা দাদু থাকার দৌলতে ভানু বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের কৌতুক নকশা ছিল আমার ছোটবেলার অন্যতম বিনোদন। বেশ কিছু নকশা আজও কন্ঠস্থ। এর মধ্যে " রাজজোটক " এর কথা আলাদা ভাবে উল্লেখ্য কারণ "রাজজোটক " অ্যান্টন চেখভ এর "দ্যা ম্যারেজ প্রোপোজাল এর বাঙাল অনুবাদ।

মজার ব্যাপার বাঙাল অনুবাদটি আসল নাটকের চেয়েও বেশি উপভোগ্য! পুনে তে ফিল্ম ইনস্টিটিউট এর দিনগুলোয় হিন্দী তে এই একই নাটক অভিনয় করেছিলাম, সম্প্রতি আসল নাটকটি ও পরিচালনার দায়িত্ব পেয়েছিলাম। আমার সদ্য আমেরিকান অভিনেতা বন্ধুদের নিয়ে মাত্র দিন পাঁচেকের মহরায় ইংরেজিতেই "দ্য ম্যারেজ প্রপোজাল " এর শো ইউটিউবে লাইভ করলাম।
কিছু ভুল ত্রুটির পাশাপাশি আদ্যপান্ত এই পুরনো ঘরানার কমেডি আশাকরি সকলের ভালো লাগবে। ভবিষ্যতে বাংলা ও হিন্দি রচনা নিয়েও অনেক কাজ করব,
পাশে থাকার জন্য ধন্যবাদ। 🙏🏻😊
