Sneaky preview 👀! We have a new video coming soon, which is all about some of the disasters we had when we originally wheelchair adapted our caravan on a budget, and a warning to anyone who might follow in our footsteps. We have never told this story publicly before, but after a major overhaul and a positive outcome earlier this year, now is the right time to share it with you. ☺️

We loved this little upcycling project! 😁

Needing to fill a space next to our new fireplace, we’ve been scouring the second-hand market for the perfect cabinet.

We found this bargain locally — The perfect size and in great condition, with only a few surface markings on the top ☺️

A bit of sanding and a coat of varnish later, and it’s as good as new!

Very satisfying job done 👍🏻💗

It only felt like a few weeks ago that we were sat outside under the canopy until late, enjoying the warmth of the Italian climate — Now it’s dark by 5pm and rains all the time 😆. Take us back pleeease!! 😕☔️🏕️

First fire pit night of the season! 😁🔥

Having both been unwell since we got back from the NEC over a week ago, the cabin fever was starting to set in…

The perfect cure? A spontaneous bbq and bonfire in the garden! 🥰

It’s been such a lovely evening under the stars — A great way to immerse ourselves back in nature, while not overdoing it and allowing our bodies to continue recovering ☺️✨

Typical!… 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♀️

We tow 2500 miles around Europe without a single issue, but on a little trip to Birmingham everything goes wrong 😆

❌ Broken Thetford pump
❌ Broken skylight blind
❌ Faulty hob thermocouples

These are all to be expected with a caravan of this age — especially given how much we use it — but as always, we’re on top of the maintenance 🔧

In fact, it has its annual service booked for tomorrow! Fingers crossed they don’t find anything else that needs fixing 🤞🏻

Autumn has well and truly arrived since we’ve been away! 🍁

After a cosy last night in the caravan and a wet and wild journey home, the very first thing we did when we got back was light the fire 🔥

We’ve had a great time away, but we must admit it’s good to be home 🏡🥰
