💡 Pro tip: A quick, seamless exam mid-cleaning keeps the flow moving and lets everyone get on with their day faster.

Sometimes, the challenge is staying sharp and efficient when there's no immediate rush.

Maximize Your Collections, Minimize Your Stress!

One of the biggest missed opportunities I see in offices is poor collection rates. But here's the good news: It's totally fixable! 🙌

Follow these three simple steps:
1️⃣ Estimate insurance benefits accurately.
2️⃣ File claims with the correct documentation.
3️⃣ Collect the patient portion before starting the work.

With these in place, your collection rate should be nearly 100%—no more chasing down balances!

Let's turn those missed collections into consistent cash flow.

Don't wait until it's too late!

Reflecting on my journey, I realize I held back for far too long, fearing to trust others and take the leap.

I reached a breaking point, overwhelmed and unhappy.

But when I finally made the move, I found out I was ready all along, years earlier even.

If you're feeling stuck, take the chance today—you might be more prepared than you think! 💪✨

What leap have you been putting off that you might already be ready for?

09/08/2024

How do you know when to add an associate?

There are very few people who get the timing right.

Most wait until it's too late.

Don't make the same mistake.

Maximize your current facility and situation before bringing someone new on board.

Ensure you're fully leveraging what you have now before making the leap!

💡 Ever heard a dentist say they can't afford an associate? 🤔

Check this out: If you’re pulling in $857K a year, investing in an associate dentist might be more achievable than you think!

With an annual cost of around $100K for salary and materials, it’s a smart move that can protect your practice, boost your free time, and reduce those never-ending hygiene checks.

And hey, if you’re buying new tech you don’t even use, why not invest in something that’ll make a real difference? 🦷✨

Jon Acuff’s Soundtracks reminds us that we can choose the tunes that play in our lives.

I’m all about intentionality, and I gotta say, my soundtrack is pretty dope.

With wealth, health, and a job we love, our lives are seriously on beat. 🎵

So let’s tune into the positive and rock out to the soundtrack of success and joy!

What’s your soundtrack like?

We bring our clients together for a powerful session where they design their Wildly Important Goal (WIG) with their office managers. The result? 📈

This quarter alone, we've seen:
✨ 54% increase in net hourly production for doctors

Pro Tip: Elevate Your Patient Care!

Start your day 10 minutes early and review your digital notes on each patient.

Imagine greeting them like this:
"Gary, great to see you! How's Therese and her yoga studio? And how's your grandson Canaan doing? He just turned four, right?"

Doing your homework creates genuine connections that make a lasting impact.

How do you create meaningful connections with your patients?

🌴 Ready to talk vacations?

When I was a solo doc, it felt impossible to take a break.

The opportunity cost of shutting down the practice seemed overwhelming.

It's hard to justify a vacation when you factor in the lost production, right?

But here's the thing—taking time off is essential.

I found that it became easier once I had an associate.

Taking time to recharge isn't just a luxury; it's a necessity.

So, how do you make time for yourself? Share your tips!

After two years as an associate, I knew I was ready to start my own practice.

From day one, I was determined not to be an associate forever.

Dental school in 2009 left a lot to be desired in terms of hands-on clinical experience—amalgams, minimal composites, and barely any endo or extractions.

But, working alongside experienced senior docs, I gained invaluable knowledge.

Now, I'm excited to bring that expertise to my very own practice! 🦷✨

What's a goal you've always known you'd achieve?

30/07/2024

Meetings in dentistry: more than just time spent talking. 🦷

When done right, they’re the key to team cohesion and clarity! 💬✨

It's not about the dollar value of a procedure but the value of aligned goals and efficient communication.

Let’s turn those meetings into powerful tools for progress and success. 💪

26/07/2024

Ever had someone storm into your office, all fired up? Here's a pro-tip: instead of dodging the heat, tackle it head-on like a champ! 💪

Step 1️⃣: Acknowledge their frustration.

Step 2️⃣: Rephrase their concerns calmly.

Step 3️⃣: Let them spill it all out—every last gripe. 🗣️

Step 4️⃣: Piece it together and reassure them. Sometimes, a sincere apology works wonders. 🙏

Remember, it's not just about solving the problem—it's about making them feel heard and valued.

Ready to turn every complaint into a positive moment? Let's do this!

25/07/2024

Thinking about exiting or retiring? The right time to start planning isn’t when you're ready to walk away—it's 3 to 5 years before!

Dentists often want to shift from managing a business to focusing solely on their craft.

Start your exit strategy early and make the transition smooth and successful.

The best time to plan is now!

24/07/2024

Bringing an associate into your practice changes everything.

It’s not just about good or bad—it’s about embracing a new mindset.

Are you ready to tackle new challenges and share the responsibility?

23/07/2024

Thinking back to dental school... 🦷 It felt like a dance, practicing on models that were nothing like real teeth.

We thought we were ready, but real-life dentistry is a whole new ballgame.

Did school really prepare us? Maybe a little.

But nothing beats hands-on experience in the real world!

For all my fellow professionals out there, what surprised you the most when you started practicing?

Confidence through Captures

Taking photos isn't just about memories, it's about building trust and confidence!

When I snap a pic of a procedure, patients think, "Wow, they must be good if they're documenting this!"

It's all about transparency and safety.

During consultations, I love getting excited about the transformation ahead.

When a patient smiles, I smile bigger, thinking about the incredible results we’ll achieve together.

It's not about where you are now, but where you'll be soon—and I can’t wait to help you get there!

Ever had a dental transformation? How did it make you feel? Share your story below!

19/07/2024

Setting expectations is key to success.

Here's a story that resonates: We hold ourselves to high standards because we care.

When someone doesn't meet those standards, it's tough, but necessary.

Struggling with dental marketing? It's all about the data!

Track key metrics like call answer rates and appointment conversions.

Did you know the average dental office misses 1/3 of new patient calls?

Even with $2,000+ spent on marketing, half of those calls are missed!

Don't let your efforts go to waste.

Analyze, adapt, and grow your practice!

What do you do in your practice to ensure client calls and conversions are met?

17/07/2024

From answering calls to managing check-ins, their role is vital.

Don't overlook the importance of a streamlined collections process or the power of effective marketing.

Growing a business is simple when you focus on what truly matters.

What's one key area you think businesses often overlook? Share them below!

New patients are the lifeblood of any thriving practice. It's the number every doctor follows closely, and for good reason. More new patients mean a busier schedule and faster growth!

🔹 Survival Mode: 20 new patients/month per solo doc.
🔹 Sweet Spot: 40 new patients/month per doc.
🔹 Rapid Growth: 70-80 new patients/month per solo doc.

At our practice, we aim high and strive for excellence. Currently, we welcome about 40 new patients per doctor, fueling our continuous growth and success.

Let’s keep pushing the boundaries together!

How many new patients do you aim to see at your practice?

Systems in a business are more than just simple processes; they're the backbone of efficiency and growth.

When businesses expand, they rely on these systems to ensure consistency and quality across all operations.

It's not just about creating a system, but continuously refining it to find the best possible way to achieve success. 🌟

What systems do you think are crucial for a business to thrive and adapt in today's fast-paced world?
