Being a woman Reggae DJ for over 50 years I am so elated to see so many woman DJs in the music industry today. I was especially proud of this sister, Njambi Koikai, that drew large crowds all over East Africa. She worked hard in the Reggae fraternity to bring Reggae presence in Africa. Hempress Sativa I know you’re very sad right about now. I’ve seen an excellent video with you and her. DJ Fyah Mummah Jahmby Koikai Rest In Paradise say hello to all the Reggae fraternity. Burning Spear brings out old memories from when we all sited up RastafarI and Marcus Garvey.🔥 Old friends were at tonight's show communing with each other like in the beginning when it was so fresh, so Ital and and always full of love and culture.🌴 Tonight made me feel so blessed to grow up in San Diego. I will always cherish the memories that we share together. I remember presenting Burning Spear at the Carpenters Hall, the Adam's Ave Theatre the California Theatre and the San Diego Sports Arena. So much time has passed.

May the most high bless all the ancient ones. We are still here standing to Roots Reggae music. Hold on to the Roots, Reggae will never fade. Big up to the Ancient ones that are still here. ✊🏿
