One Piece fans are losing their minds over random doodles, saying s**t like it's a reflection of our own reality or some crap. They're acting like One Piece is more serious than the author's intention. It was always meant to be a goofy adventure, anything else is just self-insert copium because they don't want to admit it's mainly for kids and young teens. It'll never have heavier themes, so they use the "it's not just a story, it's a reflection of our own society" nonsense. No, it's just a cartoon and a money-making scheme. One Piece isn't about liberation and standing up against the rich and corrupted. The author made millions off his desperate audience and wouldn't share his wealth with them, he doesn't even want to show his face in public. It's a pyramid scheme, and fans are the poor consumers begging for a game-changing revelation.

One of the most glazed One Piece characters, how can anyone defend this character??? Yes, he did it for his wife, but she was already dying and was probably just as delusional as the modern optard. It's not even that sad. Well, actually, it is sad, because it's absurd that anyone would find this sad. This is not normal under any circumstances. Oda has a weird obsession with man-babies. How am I supposed to enjoy a series with the most weird and absurd characters? The length is one thing, but when the characters are weirdos and the author's self-insert fetishes, I feel like I won't be able to enjoy it. If I'm going to invest thousands of hours into something, it should at least surpass my expectations.

Just a reminder that One Piece suffers from the same flaws. Oda is not the best writer, he's just dragging the plot out and taking the audience along with it, giving them a little bit of dopamine. They spend so much time watching it that they become numb and blindsided by the flaws.
