Check out my review of the first new Whitecross album in 20 years! Rex Carroll, David Roberts, Benny Ramos, and Michael Feighan have released a killer!
Legendary rock band Whitecross is back with their first album in two decades. With a new lead singer, does this release give us something to fear or something to drive our fears away?No Elephants In This RoomLet's deal with the first issue, a new lead singer. When a band has such a distinctive vocal...
Give us your one word comment on this album.
I think bad timing (post hair band, emergence of grunge) is what kept these guys from having the success they deserved.
Xalt. This is the only release of theirs that I have. How does it stack up to their other releases?
Anyone remember this band? Chaos Is The Poetry. They only had one release, self-titled. I don’t remember them when they first came out, but picked up this cassette a while back at a Goodwill store. I really really like it! Sort of a cross between alternative rock with some Prog rock.
Sacred Warrior!

| Mylon LeFevre , a Christian rock legend and a great man of God, passed away this Friday as reported by his wife Christi on Mylon's page.
We love Mylon, we have been very saddened by his departure, but at the same time very happy to know that we will see each other in heaven with our Lord.
Well done, Mylon!

The first time I met Pat Robertson was at The Varsity in Atlanta before I gave my life to Jesus. Even with my long hair and “high” rock and roll attitude, his kindness left an unforgettable impression.
After I was saved, He was one of very few leaders in the church who were good to me. Although Christian Rock was extremely controversial at the time, he repeatedly featured my ministry on CBN/ The 700 Club Because of His choice to walk in unconditional love, he helped me and my band, Broken Heart, reach more youth for Jesus. ✝️
We HONOR this great general in the body of Christ who received his heavenly reward today. Praying the perfect peace of God over the Robertson family. 🕊️

#CCRTV | 100% Proof - New way of Livin (1980) The description according to the band's official channel: Recorded for Granada TV, this is a different version to the one on the EP as it had to fit into a time slot so had to be trimmed down a little. it was recorded at Granada studios Manchester #ClassicChristianRock #CCM #christianrock #classicrock
#CCRTV - Dubeel (Dubiel) - On and On (1988) Remember Dubiel? then they changed their name to Dubeel, released 2 EPs under the name DuBeel and 2 as Dubiel. This was a great Christian hard rock proposal formed by their singer Mary DuBiel, unfortunately they didn't manage to be so popular and didn't last many years, they were active between 1986 and 1990. This video is from 1988, the song is from their first Demo from 1986. Michael Tyrrel joined Dubeel shortly after this video was filmed. The line-up in this video: Mary DuBiel -Vocals Mike Cummings - Guitar, backing vocals Carol Coty - Keyboards Chris Thom - Bass, backing vocals, keyboards Thomas Mark - Drums, percussion Do you have any memories of Dubeel/Dubiel? #ClassicChristianRock #CCM #ChristianRock #GlamMetal #HardRock
#CCRTV | Michael Sweet - Someday (1994) - When you take me away to another place, I'll be with you forever living in your grace - I have been experiencing some strong feelings over the past few weeks, compounded by the death of several artists I have admired for many years such as Michael Bloodgood, Ulysses Eyherabide (Rescate), Kaleb Luebchow and recently Ted Kirkpatrick of Tourniquet. Other Christian artists who have died in recent years also come to mind, Carman, Kevin Whisler (Bloodgood), Kenny Marks, Matt Manners, Rick Elias, Hugo Lopez, Rick Foley (Bride), BJ Thomas, Alejandro Alonso, Rocco Marshall (Vision), Charlie Clark (Messiah Prophet), at least these are the ones I remember. I am thinking about them, in their faith, they were not only musicians, they were also parents, children, people with many dreams, with many difficulties, we all live difficult situations in our lives, we all sometimes suffer even if we are smiling in front of our family or friends. For some reason God brought this song to me, someday from first Michael Sweet's solo album, it was always one of my favorite Michael's ballads, it has been some time since I listened to it, but it has become my companion on recent days. The world is going through many difficulties, wars, diseases, depression, many resort to drugs, alcohol or other things that only bring more pain, Christians are not exempt from suffering in the face of everything that happens in this world full of pain. We know that in times of despair we can cling to God, He is our hope and protection. Death can make us feel sad, no matter how much faith we have, we always feel sadness, but at the same time we firmly believe that God takes us to live in another place to be always living in his grace. All these musicians today are living in the grace of God, how many struggles did they live through? how many times did they cry for some situation that marked their lives? how many times did they feel they could not go on? that wi

#CCRTV | Servant Band - Love Never Fails / Audio (1985) This is one of my favorite Servant songs, the last track of their last album from 1985. Some history can be read through Servant's website: 'At the time of the Swimming in a Human Ocean recording, Servant was pretty much homeless. In 1985 the community that Servant had been a part of for all these years began to unravel. We began looking for a new base where members could become engaged in inner-city ministry, and also where the band could more economically travel to their concerts. Throughout the summer and fall of 1985 roughly half of the community moved to inner-city Cincinnati, Ohio. Bob Hardy by this time was gone. After a European tour in 1984, Bob had had enough of the road life. Losing Bob was difficult—we had worked hard together for a good spell. Fortunately for the band he was replaced by someone we knew. Eric Odell had been an integral part of the band support crew, working for a number of years in the community’s Rooftop Records office to promote Servant's songs on the radio for the CCM Top 40.. Eric joined the band in December of 1984 and began rehearsing and contributing to songs for the next album during the Spring of 1985.' - http://www.servantband.com/
#CCRTV | Greg X Volz - Come To Me (1991) Perhaps very few remember the video of the song Come To me from the album The Exodus by Greg X Volz, this is from 1991. The younger ones may never have seen this video. A beautiful classic with lyrics that motivate us to go to Christ to lighten our burdens. . . . #ClassicChristianRock #CCM #ChristianRock #ClassicRock #Classics #GregxVolz
#CCRTV | Many know this song in the version that Deliverance did in 1992, but it actually belongs to the group Daniel Amos. The video is from the DVD Live un Anaheim 1985, and the song belongs to the 1984 album Vox Humana. Tell us, Which of the two versions do you prefer? . . . #ClassicChristianRock #CCM #DanielAmos
#CCRTV | Time is Track 5 from Undercover's album Balance of Power released in 1990. Balance of Power was not the happy New wave Punk album, but rather, a darker introverted post punk. Many compared this stage of Undercover with The Cult, what do you think? . . . #ClassicChristianRock #CCM #ChristianRock #Undercover
#CCRTV | Alguien is the title track of Alejandro Alonso's second album released in 1992. Alejandro was a Mexican singer, one of the greatest exponents of Christian music in Latin America. Alejandro passed away on January 31, 2022. We will see you soon brother, your life and your music were and will always be a blessing. . . . #ClassicChristianRock #CCM #ChristianMusic #ChristianRock #MusicaCristiana #AlejandroAlonso
#CCRTV | Jet Circus - Victory Dance (1991) Jet Circus was formed by two former members of Leviticus, Victory Dance was a bad song from their first album, it's Heavy Metal, but also Rap and something strange. I think they were experimenting making metal with the new sounds of the 90s, but in a strange way. I must highlight the fact that Jet Circus did something totally different, they were not a copy nor did they look like any other band. . . . #ClassicChristianRock #CCM #ChristianRock #ChristianMetal #WhiteMetal #JetCircus

#CCRTV | Larry Norman - Country Church (1989) I have always loved the lyrics of this song.... Last Sunday there was preaching, we all went out to hear The little church was crowded, the right and poor were there. It was a splendid sermon, the singing full and free. Country church, country people With their eyes upon the Lord Built a church with a steeple As a place to hear His word. You can live and die in the same small town But the Lord spreads his love all around. The choir was dressed in glory, their voices dressed in love The music told the story of God who sent his son How Jesus came from heaven to set the sinner free Amazing grace how sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost but now I'm found Was blind but now I see. The choir was finished singing and the congregation stood While the Spirit touched and filled them with power, love and good From God who reigns in heaven always watching every man And guiding all his children with his kind protecting hand. Country church, country people With their eyes upon the Lord Built a church with a steeple As a place to hear His word. You can live and die in the same small town But the Lord spreads his love all around.
