I started a podcast (official launch on 9/26) and one of my favorite parts of it is the F*, Marry, K!ll segment.👇🏻
We (meaning me and my co-host ) tackled NYC Sandwiches and this was one of them: the chopped cheese. 🧀

Last week, I attended “A Seat at the Table,” a dinner hosted by Grace Young (affectionately referred to as “the Voice of Chinatown” by ), to celebrate the traditions and flavors of Chinatown with a special menu at . ❤️
The dinner was planned in partnership with .to.chinatown and to help raise awareness (and hopefully stop) the building of NYC’s new mega jail in Chinatown. The effects/impacts of such a project are massive and already being felt, with multiple small businesses closing, leaving many without income in one of the toughest economic times in years. 💔

When your wedding date is a dirty martini and you’re very ok w it🍸 ICYMI: I was a guest this week on ’s podcast, and not only was it a great conversation, but I teased a little bit about a couple projects I’ve been working on! 😛👇🏻

Photodump: standup comedy, clients, and knee pain edition. ICYMI: I have angered my existing knee injuries from a bad car accident many moons ago. I had a steroid injection last week to help with the pain, but let's just say it's been a bit of a mental and physical struggle, as I feel like I have aged 10 years overnight. So while I figure out what life and work will look like for me in the coming months, here's a bit about last week:

Tomorrow (4/11) is my bday 🎂 so I thought I'd be bold and put my age out there, front and center. Mainly bc next year will be the big 4-0 and this is my way of coping with that? Like if I say it enough, it'll be ok? I believe it's called "desensitization."
PS this is just shtick so don't worry, I am grateful for my age (and my skin, if we're being honest). So be prepared to see a lot of annoying birthday content from me this week. 🥳

Evidently, officials within the city of Sedona (known for its natural beauty, much like McDonalds) believed that the yellow arches would “clash” with the red rocks, so they opted for the soft blue/turquoise color 🤓 🌈

FALL CONTENT: ACHIEVED. 🍁 Foliage. Boots. S’mores. Apples. Pumpkins. Cider. Only thing missing was Pumpkin Spice toilet paper.
I had so much fun in Brattleboro, Vermont last week! Here’s a few pics of me being basic in various settings and some food/foliage, obviously. That poutine from . Still thinking about it.
The drive was only 3 1/2 hours from NYC and I’ll be adding everything we did to the blog soon, but in the meantime just had to say thank you so much to Chad and Ross (and Dior 🐶) from for hosting us (and being literally the best hosts EVER). I miss those breakfasts 😍🥓🍳
If you find yourself needing some R&R, Brattleboro was the perfect place to do it bc it’s far enough but not too far from the city. The vibes were immaculate. 🙃🍂🍁

How has it been one week since ?? Time flies when you’re not able to breathe out of your nose. Meant to post this earlier but I’ve been a little under the weather this week 🤧 Anyway, thanks Bagelfest for having me judge this year, as I take eating carbs very seriously. Congrats to the winners and everyone who came out and showed some love to the national treasure that is the New York bagel. And apparently the Connecticut bagel? 😅 Hope to see ya there next year! 🥯

[SWIPE] for a little story excerpt, taken from the blog (and actually from that book I’ve been trying to write…but anyway). I pulled this one out of the relics because I think a lot of times, especially lately, we forget what it's like to come together.
This may be a silly example, but growing up in Queens, we had our own little rituals, and driving around Franny Lew for no reason was one of them. This was how we did it on the evening of 9/11.
A seemingly insignificant act of teenage hubris brought us together and made us smile. When there wasn’t much to smile about. I’m sharing this in hopes it makes you smile too, on a day that brings sadness to so many.
Sometimes it’s good to remember that when things go dark, people can surprise you. Everyone has a story they’ll always remember, and this is mine. Link in bio for the full thing.
