♥️ To the person who is suffering from past trauma,

I want to remind you that those who come into your life with pure intentions, who just want to love you and spend time with you, are not looking for anything beyond that. You may have carried the weight of the world on your shoulders, often being the financial provider for people who only wanted you for that reason. It’s understandable that when someone asks you for even the smallest thing—something that doesn’t require money but just your time—it might feel overwhelming, as if they’re asking for more than you can give.

But please know, the people who genuinely care for you only want your love and time. They’re not here to take from you but to be with you. They don’t need anything more than that. It’s not fair for them to suffer because of the pain others have caused you in the past. If you want to build a relationship with someone, it’s important to recognize and accept the love they offer.

There’s a saying that actions speak louder than words, but sometimes we don’t fully grasp that until it’s too late. To those suffering from trauma, don’t make those who truly care about you suffer as well. Misinterpreting their intentions can push them away, making them feel like they have to step back, even when all they want is to be there for you.

Please, give the person who wants to build a relationship with you a chance. Know that you are needed in ways that don’t involve financial obligations or conflict. Don’t shut them out because of past hurts. They deserve a chance to love you without carrying the burden of your past.

To those who are on the receiving end of someone’s trauma, continue to love them, even if you have to protect yourself from their actions. Remember that love doesn’t have to be affected by the past, and your patience can make a difference. ♥️

☀️ Morning Thoughts:

Someone needs to hear this…….

Some people have adjusted their lives around chaos and dysfunction. It becomes their normal. So when someone who is normal, structured, and non-chaotic comes into their lives, it's not comfortable for them. It's not the usual, and sometimes they feel a little skeptical. They have a tendency to back away. It's not that they're doing it on purpose; it's just that you're coming into their lives doing something different that they're not used to.

Whether this is regarding your relationship with a family member, a close friend, understand that maintaining your authentic self and continuing your structured lifestyle is essential. The adjustment process can be challenging for others. So, whether it's a family member or a friend who you love dearly but who isn't used to your normalized lifestyle, don't love them any more or any less. Love them for what they are able to do for you, even if it's not much at all.

It's the fact that your life is totally different from theirs, especially if you've never been in their lives or they've never been in your life for such a long time. You have to understand it's something that they have to adapt to, not you. Keep being who you are, keep shining, and keep being that person who is "normal." Those who really understand you, who love you, and who aren't expecting something else from you because that's not how they are, will be there for you regardless. They're not going to be absent; they're not going to be part-time. They're going to be there all the way.
