Here at Nectar Magazine, we are all about getting outside, rain or shine. Bozeman, Montana has had a bit of a soggy fall, but a little rain didn't stop one of our editors from getting out and enjoying the perks of mountain life. Here's her take on the day:
"Here at the base of the Bridger Mountains, cold weather is slowly creeping in. The wool socks and extra comforter have been unearthed from the depths of storage, and the leaves down every street glow with vibrant yellow and red. As of late, the clouds have hung low and grey, keeping us in a semi-constant state of damp weather. Tempting as it may be to take the opportunity to curl up indoors and wait out the storm, knowing that only colder weather will follow keeps me motivated to enjoy what the season has left.
Trusty hiking boots laced up, wiggly dogs thrown in the car, and a steaming mug of tea, we make our way up to the state land and hike until our clothes are thoroughly saturated and the hounds are covered from head to toe in mud.
The dirt washes off in the scalding hot shower, but the huge grins plastered on our faces stick throughout the day."
