A little bit about myself...
Hi! I’m Sarah and I’ve been a virtual assistant for the past 5 years assisting small businesses in a variety of industries from retail to construction. My main focus is social media management and content creation, but I am in the process of sharpening other skills to add in other services.
I’ve always had an interest in technology, gadgets and online social platforms - yes, even back to the Myspace days. I thoroughly enjoyed learning the little “hacks” like adding a scrolling text bar on my page using basic HTML/CSS codes. Jump forward a few years when Facebook and Instagram became popular, this is when I developed the idea of turning my new found passion into a small freelance business. It all started with helping a friend with the social media marketing of a project website to building my client base and helping small businesses in content creation and social strategy.
In 2018, I also completed by Bachelors degree in web technologies studying a variety of 2.0 technologies, also learning the basics of a few client-side scripting languages (Ruby, PHP and Javascript). I’m CompTIA ITF+ certified accrediting my skills in basic IT work.
When I’m not busy creating a detailed social graphic, I enjoy all things outdoors - sand volleyball, kayaking and hiking. My wife and I live in Austin, Texas with our two Shih Tzu pups - Jovie and Pasha. As a family we enjoy traveling, experiencing new things and seeing new places making memories along the way.
