When you’re a solo language learner, it’s a struggle 😕 to keep going consistently.

In the conversations with my Fluent Language Mastermind members, the following question came up a few times:

🙆 ”What is a good approach for working with all my vocab and grammar notes so I can remember them?”

My key strategy is to start by finding a 😌 calm language learning approach. In this case, it’s realising that you do not have to memorize everything.

Some words are more common than others. Those are the ones you will encounter again and again.

Spaced repetition (often used as the basis for language apps) occurs naturally when you use and practice a language.

The important words will always come back.

The next time you forget a word, an ending, or a grammar structure, you will relearn it and remember it a little better.

The next time after that, again.

This goes on until you have it in your long-term memory.

So don’t wait to use your language until you’ve got a 90% perfect vocab memory. Instead, let using the language be your study.
