Good morning from Southeastern Utah.

Under the night sky at Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park, the Milky Way aligned perfectly just before blue hour—a rare, magical moment. This stunning masterpiece captures the transition from night to dawn in a way few ever experience.

It’s safe to say this was surely a delightful surprise to kick off the morning.

I had always wondered what Yosemite would be like—the way the chapel’s organ might sound, how the waterfalls would roar, what it would feel like to stand among giants.

My path there wasn’t direct—canceled twice, leading me instead through Arches, Zion, and Bryce Canyon before I finally arrived. But along the way, I found myself wondering even more.

My 2024 trip through Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon was nothing short of incredible. I rarely take time to reflect, so I created this film—and I thought I would share.

I hope you enjoy this personal, and deeply rewarding project.

When John McGivern’s Main Streets selected the LaSalle-Peru area for an episode, their team reached out to me for video footage—and I was thrilled to collaborate!
