I'm a Limerick based engineer and work with a wide variety of genres with Rock, Prog and all types of Metal being my specialty. A quick breakdown of the services I offer. Tracking- I handle all aspects of the recording portion of making a release ready track. I can do it one instrument at a time and I am also equipped to handle large groups of musicians playing together, whatever suits the band and the song. Mixing- I use a hybrid of digital and analogue equipment during mixdown for a best of both worlds result. I am equally happy to mix tracks recorded by me, or by other engineers and also with bands who have recorded themselves. Contact me for a mix quote, every band is different. Reamping- Reamping basically is recording the guitars clean output into your recording software while tracking and then converting it back to guitar level and running it out to an amp at a later stage. This allows you to change the tone if you decide you're not happy with it during mixing and also to blend different amps on the same take. It also means someone recording at home can avail of high quality amps, miced well with great recording equipment. I have a large selection of amps, pedals and cabs for both guitar and bass in the studio. Check the gear list for a full breakdown. Current rate is 10€ per take per song. I am willing to cut deals with people doing several songs at a time. Live recording - I am also an experienced live engineer and am happy to bring a recording rig to a gig and do a multitrack recording of the show.
