Who: Oklahomans affected by the May 19-28 severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding in Blaine, Caddo, Custer, Delaware, Jackson, Mayes, Muskogee and Rogers counties.

What: August 14 is the last day for Oklahomans affected by the May 19-28 storms to apply for FEMA assistance. To apply:
 Go online to DisasterAssistance.gov.
 Call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.
 Download the FEMA App.
 Visit the Disaster Recovery Center at the Rogers County Health Department, 2644 N. Highway 88 in Claremore: for hours, visit fema.gov/drc.

When: The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. August 14.

We are saddened by the passing of Buddy Britton, a long-time Caddo County Educator and Binger resident. Our phones rang off the hook yesterday and today, asking if people could submit tributes to us.
