We are thrilled to finally share that we are working with Pittsburgh’s on the cassette release of “it’s getting worse: definitive edition.” This is the culmination of years of pandemic- and life-delayed planning and coordinating, and I couldn’t be more excited to finally have this incredible release within reach.

This definitive edition of "it's getting worse" finds versatile and dynamic Pittsburgh quintet, rchrd prkr, revisiting their important 2015 EP with an updated lineup full of local scene veterans and icons, and a fresh perspective. But without compromising the integrity of this incredible record, or jeopardizing any of what made it so meaningful upon its initial release 7 years ago.

Side A of the cassette features the entire 6 song EP, while Side B features the entire original 2015 version.

Happy Release Day to the brand new Tyler Heaven LP, Darkness On The Edge Of The Parking Lot! This spacey, shoegaze-inspired sad pop masterpiece is currently available exclusively on bandcamp, and will be available on all streaming platforms next week.

The album will also be available as an incredibly limited 12” hifi lathe, exclusively at the record release show at The Government Center in Pittsburgh this Saturday. There are only 20 of them in existence, so come early if you want one!

It’s crazy to think that this is our first official project, having been friends with for so many years, and doing some really cool stuff with . But I’m so excited to have this incredible record in our catalog, and officially welcome Tyler Heaven into the H2W family!

I can’t believe I almost missed this, but happy first birthday to Jason Kaminski’s absolutely incredible LP, Until Tomorrow! I can’t even wrap my head around this having already been out for a year. I still listen to it all the time, and it still feels is important to me today as it did the first time I heard it.

If you’re into melancholy, singer/writer stuff, this record is GOLD. Do yourself a favor, and give it a listen.

I don’t take pictures at shows, mostly because I’m terrible at it, but I guess this one of from last night is at least good enough to accompany a note about the show.

Thank you so much to everyone that came out to The Pie Shop in DC last night. It was an absolute blast. , , and - literally three of my very favorite active bands right now - were every bit as incredible as I hoped they’d be, and it was so great to get to finally meet and spend time with some folks in the real world that I’ve gotten to know this past year or so locked indoors on the Internet. At the risk of sounding too sentimental, these are exactly the kinds of nights that keep me doing this.

All three of these bands have new records out that absolutely deserve your attention. Take a minute to dig into them, if you haven’t already.

We are so excited to finally, officially announce the brand new LP from Washington, DC’s The Rememberables! Breathe, their second full-length, will be available everywhere Friday, October 8th, and is being released in conjunction with our friends Adagio830 Records in Europe.

Packed with the aggression, crushing guitars, and absolutely punishing drums, Great Deal Of Pain dances perfectly between hardcore and thrash, not unlike modern masters such as Dead Heat, World Tension and Judiciary.
