What Silay Summer Workshop is all about:
To address the growing demand of summer activities for the growing population of children in the city of Silay, Tapulanga Foundation is offering a month-long summer arts camp geared towards “playing and having fun whilst learning a craft” entitled The Silay Summer Workshops on April 11 to May 14, 2011 to be hosted by St. works to uplift the lives of those
who were born with less through educational scholarships, healthcare assistance and micro-credit loans for families of farm workers in Silay City, Negros Occidental
Our workshop instructors and facilitators come from very diverse but professional backgrounds and we offer their expertise not just to teach our kids a certain craft, but to make sure they have fun doing it and that they learn how to play well. Our main thrust is to give the children a fun experience in learning a craft in the arts during their summer break. Classes that will be offered range from: Children’s and Teenage Acting, a 4-week summer arts program for children, Hip-Hop , Basic Drawing and Painting, Teenage Acting, Songwriting with Joey Benin, Storybook-writing with Jason Moss, Mud-house-making workshop with Kaila Ledesma, Practical Photography and Documentary Photography with J. Dates:
April 11 to April 15 (1-7pm)

Course Fee: Php 2,500
Note: Expenses for field shoot is not included in the course fee.
