SOUND ENGINEERS!!

As well as potentially looking to work with an external editor, one side of our larger productions we are eager to improve upon is sound.

The harder part of nailing an amateur production is certainly sound. Clipping, equalising, levels, foley, mixing; basically engineering the sound! We have a large, 40 minute project (our 1920s short film Temperance) that needs the tender loving care of a sound engineer.

The continuing issue we face is that we are 100% amateur and none of us get paid for this, but I'm eager to reach out and connect to a sound engineer who would be interested in getting involved.

Due to the huge timeframe of our project turnarounds, and the scaling of quality and depth of more recent work, we’re looking for editors to potentially work with.

If you’re interested in getting involved in Team Beard Films as an editor, fire us over a PM.

As everyone knows, we’re fully amateur, so we don’t get paid for what we do, but if you’re looking for experience in editing, or have an eye for it and the circumstances that allow for it, we’d be interested in hearing from you.

Not our usual type of post on Team Beard Films, but recently, the awesome toe-rags at Unified Films asked me to help them out with a wedding video for the lovely Julie Wallace-Buckley and Gary Buckley.

They asked for a music wedding video, and this is what we came up with. Amazing day, with a crazy set of friends and family! Made us feel so welcome, and we're chuffed to bits to be able to have helped them out. Check it out even if just for a laugh!!
