Where flowers bloom, so does hope💐 I get authentic joy from gardening. Watching my plants grow with purpose regardless of their environment is so inspiring to watch and it’s a great lesson when it comes to life: stay focused on your purpose. No matter what outside factors or environmental obstacles come your way, stay the course, bloom as you continue to grow. That’s the message friends: continue to grow no matter what💚 What obstacles are you overcoming today? I’ll share mine in the comments.

Count it all as joy🖤 These past few months have been a headache with a legal battle of trying to recoup $4k from a supposed-to-be millionaire who hired me for work. She completely ghosted me on payment claiming business isn’t doing well (that’s understandable) but the kicker is, she has been steadily stunting all across the internet without paying me. This money owed has impacted my kids' activities, the food on our table, and other financial obligations. I hope you follow along on this journey with me so that you can avoid similar scammers. God always replenishes and exposes those who use His name for personal gain against others.

Dinner tonight: cabbage and roasted squash 😋🥬 We absolutely love growing these veggies in our fall gardens because they bring such amazing flavors to our meals, plus they’re rewarding in how much you can harvest from each plant. to oactually help you stay hydrated? 💦 And when it comes to squash, it’s not just delicious but also incredibly nutritious. It’s a fantastic source of vitamins A and C, as well as fiber, promoting a healthy gut. 🌱So grateful for our humble garden that keeps surprising us in abundance.

Whew that was a tough couple of days🥹Our veggie garden irrigation is finally done🙌🏾 I thought the hardest part would be cutting the layout but I was so wrong. The hardest part was getting everything to stay in place as I put it together. Long hours in the heat but I feel so accomplished. Knowing this will set us up for more success with growing food for our family. Our summer garden includes string beans, lemon cucumbers, summer squash, corn, and cucumbers. We also planted some baby onions to see how they grow in the heat. I might have to replant my elephant ears, but I’ll save that for a different day. Up next: prep for vacation. I’m so excited to spend time with the family, rest, and relax. What are your summer plans friends?

My career kinda just fell into my lap🤯 For the longest, I kept chasing opportunities based on the opinions of others or based on what society said I should’ve been. But somehow, I always ended up at a place where God showed me more than what I was aiming for. Then right before the pandemic, I decided to follow Him fully. No longer taking into account the opinions of others or the validation of doing what society says. My mind and life have been wowed beyond my wildest dreams. Even with the occasional uncomfortableness (bc people will be people 😂), every day is a joyous occasion. I could’ve continued to be unfulfilled but instead, I took a leap of faith and faced my fears. If you’ve read this far, I hope you find that thing that is fulfilling for your life. I pray that you follow God’s direction and path for your life, silencing all naysayers along the way. God is about to blow your mind, trust the process!

Have you started shopping for the holidays yet? This holiday season, the girls were asked to be Osmo Expert Kid Toy Testers🎉 And for an early Christmas present, I got two new learning games for the girls. Tech learning games are my go-to resources when reinforcing skills such as math, coding, and language arts. The girls love playing the games unassisted and finding ways to solve problems. The best part is that the game also gives helpful tips when your child might be stuck in a certain area.

Learning about the world around us and nature is one of our favorite things to do as a family. On most weekends you can find us curled up on the sofa learning about astronomy, the cycle of life, and details on a variety of species. It makes us so happy that the girls have a true passion for learning💛 🐼🐧🐼🐧 This month we have been reading our @earlymomentsbooks National Geographic Level 2 books and using our Cutest Animals Sticker & Activity Book. All three are a great way to learn more details about animals and a fun way to reinforce what we’re reading by using the activity book.
