Mike Denny is a man of few secrets. A Comedian based out of Joplin, Mo, Mike has a well-earned reputation
of being brutally honest on stage, whether sharing stories of his checkered past or details of his current unorthodox personal life and everything in between, no one has ever accused him of being guarded while behind the microphone. His authentic brand of comedy has opened the way for Mike to not only become a fixture of his local scene, but also a fan favorite for crowds all across the region. Offstage, Mike is the founder of Joplin Comedy, a group that produces open-mics and shows all over Joplin and surrounding communities and he has produced and stared in multiple sketch comedy projects, including the television show “Four State Late” and the soon to be released web series “Not That Kind of Beer Show”. He's also a co-host and co-producer for The Conversation Killers podcast. Trash Musician Dustin Simpson:
Dustin Simpson has been part of the local Joplin music scene for over 25 years playing in a number of musical projects since the age of 13. These projects have included the Kreeps, Newport Surf Company, Bastard Wrench, Cockroach Presley, Rock n’ Roll Nightmares and is currently the bass player for the Itch. A believer in strengthening relationships with in the local community with like-minded creative individuals and a pocket full of uncompromising ethics, Dustin was proud to be asked to be co-host for the Conversation Killers podcast and participating member of the Joplin Comedy Collective. Putting the sass and snark back in honesty, Dustin can be occasionally found playing filthy Rock n’ Roll in condemned basements and in the backrooms of Dive bars for 8-12 people.
