Police has arrested one Moses Oko, 20, the suspect who allegedly murdered Jennifer Anthony, a 300L UNIJOS student who was recently murdered in a hotel room with her eyes and vitals removed in an apparent ritually motivated circumstance.
He was paraded by the Plateau State Police Command alongside other criminal suspects for various crimes including, kidnapping, cultism, human trafficking and armed robbery.
His parents allegedly shaved his hair and kept him in a psychiatric ward in a hospital and had him disguised as a mentally deranged person.

NDLEA explain why Instagram comedian DGeneral was arrested, releases his mugshot and that of others
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has explained why it arrested an Instagram comedian Sunday Martins popularly known as DGeneral.
Spokesman of the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi disclsoed that the comedian was arrested over drug-related issues in the early hours of Wednesday January 12.
Babafemi said the narcotics officers who acted on credible intelligence, stormed a drug joint at Orchid Estate, Lekki area of Lagos state, where three suspects were arrested with illicit drugs including 200 sachets of 225mg Tramadol and 1.5kilograms of cannabis sativa.
It was also alleged that during the operation, some persons including the suspected dealer ran away with bags suspected to contain exhibits. A trail allegedly showed they ran into the residence of the comedian.
It was also alleged that the comedian confessed to being the owner of drugs recovered from his house.
The statement read;
Acting on credible intelligence, narcotic officers stormed the drug joint in the estate, where three suspects were arrested with illicit drugs including 200 sachets of 225mg Tramadol and 1.5kilograms of cannabis sativa. In the course of the operation, some persons including the suspected dealer ran away with bags suspected to contain exhibits.
A trail showed they ran into a house located at 2B Saula Akinlolu way, Orchid estate, which is the residence of 22-year-old Sunday Joshua (aka De General). The young men started to make noise to prevent a search. The operatives introduced themselves as officers of NDLEA and submitted themselves for search before entry. This was done and a search was conducted.
The search led to the recovery of drug exhibits including cannabis sativa; Tramadol 225mg, and some paraphernalia for drug use. This was after the suspect had requested to record on video the search, which the officers out of sense of civility allowed. The video trending on social media was the moment the suspect and his friends decided to disrupt the bid to conduct a search of the house.

I learnt k from watching actor Zubby Michael in movies — 23-yr-old suspect
A self-confessed k!dnapper who was arrested by the police in Ogun state for allegedly abd a private school pupil, has said he learned the act of k!dnapping from watching actor Zubby Michael’s movies.
The 23-year-old suspect, Ayobamidele Kudus Ayodele allegedly abd the six-year-old boy from his school in Ojo Alaba area of Lagos, on November 16, 2021 and kept him hostage for four days until a ransom of N550,000 was paid for his release.
According to Vanguard, he said, “Zubby Michael is my favorite Nollywood actor and he is good at k!dnapping roles. I decided to try out some of the methods used by Zubby to k!dnap children and adults in the movies.
I started by visiting several schools around Ojo to see the possibility of picking children without anyone noticing. On November 16, 2021, I visited a school close to Alaba Market and stayed by the gate.
I saw two pupils coming to school. One of them was holding a cane. I stopped them and started chatting with them. I took the cane from one of them and asked where he bought it. He mentioned the place but I told him to take me there. I whispered into his ears that I would buy him chocolates and biscuits.
To avoid drawing attention to myself, I took the boy to an hotel in Ilogbo Eremi, Lagos. I called his father and demanded for additional N2 million. We spent four days there before his family was able to raise N550,000. The boy stayed calm throughout because he had access to my phone which had several games.
I am sorry for causing his family so much pa!n. I am not a cu!tist or an armed robber. I do not have a gang. I just trained myself by watching Zubby Michael. My parents trained me very well, I was just impatient and greedy.”

Palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has again reacted to Olori Naomi's disclosure of ending her marriage to the monarch.
The palace which countered claim of marriage between the monarch and his wife hitting the rocks, said they are probing a possible hack of Olori Naomi’s Instragam page.
In an interview with Punch, Director of Media and Strategy, Ooni’s palace, Moses Olafare, said as of Wednesday evening, Ogunwusi and Naomi went to bed as husband and wife, before the Queen released a statement announcing the end of their marriage on Thursday December 23.
Olafare also stated that separation in marriage cannot be done by just one person. He further claimed that as at Wednesday, Ooni of Ife was still packaging a special Christmas gift for Queen Naomi.
He said;
“Separation is a two-way affair, it is not something that is announced by one party. The announcement of separation is subject to agreement by both parties.
“The palace is not aware of such separation because we all went to bed last night (Wednesday) the two being the king and queen.
“So, if by this morning, the queen went to social media to write that she is no longer in marriage with Ooni, we will look into it to see whether or not the Instagram page truly belongs to her, and to know the reason behind it.
“But as of today, this moment, the palace is not aware of the separation. Marriage is a private affair, no matter how prominent the personalities involved, it is a private affair.
“We will dig deeper and know what happened, but like I said, all of us just woke up to read about the separation on social media.
"Even by this time yesterday, (Wednesday) kabiyesi was still packaging special gift for her.
“If you want to separate with someone, you cannot be packaging gift for her. I was aware that Kabiyesi was putting special Christmas gift together for her. If he is not in love with her, he cannot be doing that. In fact, the Christmas gift has been delivered to her already.” 📺:

FG restricts airlines from UK, Canada Saudi Arabia in reciprocity over Omicron COVID-19
With effect from Tuesday, Dec. 14, the Federal Government will restrict airlines coming from Canada, United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia into Nigeria.
Minister of Aviation, Capt. Hadi Sirika, announced the decision on Sunday in Lagos and explained that it was to reciprocate restricted flights from Nigeria into those countries over the new COVID-19 variant, Omicron.
Sirika said President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration would also place the United Kingdom, Canada and Saudi Arabia on a red list over the outbreak and spread of the Omicron variant.
The minister noted that if those countries placed Nigeria on a red list, they lacked a moral right to have their airlines fly into Nigeria on commercial operations.
“There is also the case of Saudi Arabia that put Nigeria on the ban list. On Sunday, I participated in a meeting with the COVID-19 task force.
“We have given our input that it is not acceptable by us and we recommended that those Canada, the UK, Saudi Arabia and Argentina also be put on the red list.
“As they did to us, if they do not allow our citizens into their countries; who are they coming, as airlines, to pick from our country?
“They are not supposed to come in. I am very sure in the next three days; Monday or Tuesday, all those countries will be put on the red list of COVID-19,’’ the minister said.
He stressed that airlines of the affected countries remained banned and the countries placed on Nigeria’s red list.
Sirika apologised to Nigerians intending to travel to those countries, but said Nigerian government’s decision was in the interest of the country.
