Senator Imee R. Marcos’ Visit to Romblon State University and Distribution of Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS)

Romblon State University painted Odiongan town purple yesterday, March 8, 2024, as we kicked off our Women's Month Celebration with a vibrant Women's March!

Our RSUvian community marched in solidarity, carrying powerful statement placards for women's empowerment. The display of solidarity and the sea of purple attire worn by the RSU community served as a powerful symbol of the university's commitment to gender equality. This commitment is further strengthened by the unwavering support of RSU's Women President Dr. Merian P. Catajay-Mani.
The celebration continued with a meaningful holy mass at the Audio-visual Room.

But the true highlight of the day? The phenomenal Women's Month Ambassadresses of each unit! Dazzling in their Hawaiian attire, they captivated the audience with their speeches explaining the messages behind their statement placards.

This is just the beginning of a month-long celebration of strong, inspiring women! Stay tuned for more exciting events!

Special thanks to the Gender and Development Office led by Director Carolyn D. Fetalver for spearheading this momentous occasion!
