I first heard on the New Red Archives compilation “At War With Society”. To be releasing their first record in over 20 years is an honor and a privilege. Pre-orders and the first single will be premiering July 12th.

“Ultraman formed in 1986, released three albums on New Red Archives, the last in 2004. We also released a split ten inch with a French band, Dot Dash in 2012. So this is our first full album in 20 years.

In todays episode of “Things That Are Hideous and Obnoxious To Look At” we would like to announce another repress of the “Hard Pass” LP from with all new art. We figured the old art wasn’t annoying enough and with the new album coming out we thought it would be a good idea to repress this and “Expect The Worst” with equally intrusive colors of vinyl. Always a pleasure to receive the new issue of and read a shiny review of the new JESSE Discograpghy x2LP. Thanks Jack!

Regrettably for this Sunderland punk/ post-punk trio, their lone LP was overshadowed by the reformation of singer/ guitarist/songwriter FrankIE StuBBs’ beloved earlier Leatherface (its new lineup also bringing Jesse bassist LeigHton Evans) before it was released on Rugger Bu**er U.K. in 1998. Like Stubbs’ band in between, POPE, Leatherface were more incredible (a band for the ages), but his talents writing and fronting remain abundantly obvi-ous. Now it’s reissued with Jesse’s three singles as Complete Discography- a yeoman service from Rad Girlfriend. Now that all three bands are history, perhaps Jesse (with drummer Peter SHIELD) will be appreciated. From my issue 43 #10 pick review: “Stubbs’ growly, grumbly heart stopping voice, simple yet jagged riffs, and the band’s barely-restrained roar are here, alongside the agonizingly emotional undertones that made Leatherface’s The Last so great. The production is a little murky, but like Bob Mould’s Sugar, the trio hits you hard in the chest and heart.
Can you stomach so much substance, in one of the most painful lost-love/lost innocence songbooks in all Britain?”

Hope you guys didn’t think we were dead or something! Pleased to announce two new records available today. First we have the legendary guitar player from the Dwarves, with his brand new EP “Ghost Ride”. You can check out the first single “Torneo Del Purgatario” being premiered over at and the link is in our bio.

Next we have the wild man himself, , King fu***ng Khan, teaming up with his daughters as Die Electric A**s, with a two song single paying tribute to such killer ‘70s garage acts such as The Electric Eels. It’s very rad and the first single “Spliggity Splat (My Feet Are On Fire)” is being premiered over at right now and again, the link is in our bio.

!”Past Our Prime”, the 3rd studio album from Denver, CO rock ‘n roll juggernaut, is on it’s way and will be released on April 11, 2024.

“POP” will be available as a 12” vinyl LP on snowy white vinyl and blade bullet vinyl (with download), as well as a standalone digital long player. “Past Our Prime” is available in our usual places. You’ll get the lead digital single ‘The Sound Remains’ at time of purchase, plus the song is also on our bandcamp sampler.
