We are two cats living in Virginia. Max, the Bengal cat, is the oldest and Dobby, the oriental short hair, is the longest.

Max took his final breaths last night at home around 2:30 AM.

There’s so much I want to say but also nothing at all.

Max changed my life like no other pet ever has. He lived in three different states with me and stayed by my side through some of life’s tougher moments.

Things won’t be the same for awhile but he’s in a better place.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Max especially through this long year of battling heart disease.

Happy New Year Friends 🎉

2023 got crazy but we made it through. Max has his good days and bad days but still active and playing with Dobby and Chloe 🥰

It has been a long few days with these kitties.

Dobby had dental surgery last week and removed 4 teeth.

Max had a checkup with the cardiologist yesterday and finally there is no change. He is the happiest I have seen him in a long time 🥰

All kitties are finally content. Well Almost, Chloe still whines for 24 hour play sessions but she’ll live 😂

Hi there, sorry life got a little busy but thank you to everyone who reached out to check in.

Here’s a photo dump of some photos from the past month.

Max has his good days and super tired days but still pretty active. His appetite has been a little better and he’s had a little more energy to play. I feel like he’s going to outlive any number the doctor says by double at this rate 😂

Dobby is still my chunky cuddle bug and just wants all the love but has had to deal with some big fights from his siblings lately, he really doesn’t understand how strong he is and he could easily just sit on either of them. 😂 but don’t worry he has a lot of safe places to hide to so he can do his favorite thing, sleeping 🥰

Chloe loves the cuddles too but if she had her way it would be cuddles, treats and playtime 24/7. I can always find her waiting by her favorite toy and when I pass by she grumbles at me to play (even if we’ve just finished playing until she passed out). She’s a special girl 🥰

Max has been hanging out more with me while I work. I made a spot next to my desk and if one of the other cats gets there before him be paces back and forth and meows until they leave. I’ve never had a cat like Max 😂 He’s always been very human like.

I know my focus moved to Dobby last week so here’s a Max update: I noticed his energy levels are going down. He can’t run away from me when it’s time for medicine anymore. His kitten side still comes out when it’s playtime but I try to limit it because his fast heart rate becomes very visible. Sometimes I think he’s going to prove the doctors wrong like before but some days I’m not so sure. For now I’m just soaking up all the cuddles 🥰
