The Colca Canyon in southern Peru is twice as deep as the Grand Canyon in Arizona and is one of the deepest and most spectacular gorges in the world. It is a journey into a deep and dynamic Peru, where traditional Andean culture traces its roots to the past, Condors spring from the depths and the famous Peruvian vicunas and alpacas roam the nearby Highlands.

Colca is a place with deep tradition and roots before the Incas. The natives can trace their heritage to the colagua and pig cultures.

Venice always appears in books (my favorite picture is the passion of Jeanette Winterson). Going there was a simple solution. But I had never explored this place much and knew nothing but what I had read in the books. That’s how I started my research.

The gondola caught my attention the most. During my research, this seemed to me the absolute best way to see the city of canals. It is not surprising that Venetians used them for hundreds of years as the main means of Transportation.

Gondolas are surprisingly water resistant. Due to the fact that they look so dense in the photos, I expect them to be very spilled.
