During an interview with Vanguard, Olalekan said that his father was so giving that he helped many women, including those who were single, by paying their rent, giving them food, or even giving them a place to live.

He said that in an attempt to inherit some of his father's wealth, some of these women had surreptitiously changed their children's surnames from other men to Abiola after his father passed away. Olalekan stated that his father had stipulated in his will that all children who came forward to claim their ancestry would have to undergo DNA testing.

‘’I think the most important thing I learnt from him is to hold on to our religion, Islam. I say this because this was what my father did that made people love him. All he did were based on Islam, which teaches us as Muslims to be charitable. My father never drank alcohol. He never went partying. He was not a party freak neither was he a gambler. The only thing you could say about my father that was kind of negative was that he had a lot of women but a lot of these women were those that came to him to give themselves to him willingly. Some of them came with children and said their husbands had abandoned them.

They usually begged him for shelter, school fees and even with food. They used to come and line up in front of this house every month to collect their allowances. My father would get some of them apartments or a house. Then they began to call themselves Mrs. Abiola, even though many of them were not. They would change their children’s names to Abiola and that was why my father wrote in his will that DNA test had to be done for all those who claimed to be his children.

About 120 children came forward to say they were MKO’s children but only 54 of them passed the DNA test at the end of the day (meaning 66 failed). So it was these women who were the ones coming to him and not him going around looking for them

According to the post, under the VAAP law, anybody who dresses indecently will be fined N50,000 or sentenced to community service.

“As you nor like wear cloth wey dey cover your body well, and you prefer dey waka go work, school, or anywhere with clothes wey dey show everywhere for your body, make you hear am – Delta state government nor dey smile for that kain dressing that kain.VAAP law don ready to punish anybody wey nor dress well,” the post read.


The VAPP Act, signed into law in 2015 by then-President Goodluck Jonathan, was domesticated in Delta State in July 2020 by the State House of Assembly.

The law is designed to prohibit all forms of violence against persons in both private and public life, offering protection to victims and ensuring offenders are punished.

It prohibits female circumcision or ge***al mutilation, forceful ejection from home and harmful widowhood practices. It prohibits abandonment of spouse, children and other dependants without sustenance, battery and harmful traditional practices

Under Section 29: Indecent Exposure of the Delta State version of the law states: “(1) A person who intentionally exposes any of his or her private parts wholly or partly in public commits the offence of indecent exposure.

“(2) A person who commits the offence provided for in subsection (1) of this Section is liable on conviction to perform such community service as the court may order or to pay a fine not exceeding N50,000.00 or both."

They got separated in 2020 and according to Stella, she found out about their divorce online.

Daniel in his post on IG, shared screenshots of an email Stella sent to him asking for an address to send the divorce papers to.

He stated that he left the marriage for his peace and that of his son. He revealed that his son suffered physical assault while he and Stella were married and that his son had to even conceal an injury with makeup when he was going to school.

Daniel used to be married to actress Doris Simeon and they share a son together. Their union packed up and then he moved on to marry Stella but their marriage ended after a few years. He has gone on to marry again and has even welcomed a son with his current partner.

The warning was issued on Saturday, June 28, by Barrister Barakat Odunuga Bakare, the head of the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA) and Special Advisor to the Governor on Housing.

According to her, dealing with individuals or organizations that have not registered and obtained the LASRERA certificate of practice is illegal.

The Special Adviser reiterated that agency fees charged by agents must be between zero and ten percent. She said those who are charged more than ten percent or who have other grievances or complaints should direct them to the LASRERA office.

Barr. Barakat Odunuga-Bakare also reaffirmed that it is illegal for professionals in the field to demand more than a year's rent from their clients, adding that the LASG has also stated that it is illegal for any real estate professional to collect money from a Lagosian without providing the necessary services to their clients.

She emphasized the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's dedication to bringing order back to the real estate industry while safeguarding the interests of practitioners, homebuyers, and property owners.
