Funny, cause at one point I was just like, man ...why am I so concerned with numbers, plays, likes, views, that's not why I create music, i do it for my soul, music has always been a part of my life, even when i was just a listener ..I just want to ...share my stuff ...to ...share my stuff.. thats it... Anything more is a bonus. When that finally happened in my mind, and I just started focusing on making the music I was anyway, and recording people like I have been anyway, that's when the numbers seem to jump the most 🙏🙏. Also this song's been on the back burner forever, years, like 3-5 ..I think 🤔...I just didn't like the Sonic quality, I was never happy with the mix. I kept doing it over and over until eventually in a way I kind of gave up and was just like I'm going to come back to this another time..., I reopened it recently and this is what I got out of the mix and I'm actually really happy with it, I think it's waaaaay better than any of the other mixes (it is, 😂 i compared). This was at the point we realized we needed a better microphone than an sm57 so we got the Blue mic which I still use to this day. As I explained in the video this was how we would warm up or practice, we'd make a beat and then freestyle on it and we would do that twice a week almost all day consistently for years. How to make the perfect riser. Step 1, choose your sound, I usually go with a regular crash cymbal. Make sure it already on the grid in time before you go any further. Step 2. Make a copy of it and reverse it as shown. Step 3. Change your grid value to 32nd notes, zoom in, delete 4 small squares as shown. Now move them up to the grid so they meet right on the grid. I didn't use any fades on this cuz I didn't hear any pops or clicks between the two audio files. And your done... Also, apparently my phone can't keep up when I pause and unpause my video because there's lag between the video and the audio portion but whatever 😆. I hope this helps you.
