I spent a few hours at Stringybark Creek, which is a memorial reserve to the 3 Victorian police killed by Ned Kelly & the Kelly gang in October, 1878. My opinion is in self defence, they were definitely not murdered as gets bandied about by those who hate Ned. It's a surreal place with only the sounds of the birds, insects & creaking eucalyptus trees. There is always 2 sides to any stories & the 3 officers deserve sympathy even if they were apart of a corrupt police force.
