On this third day before Christmas, in lieu of French hens🐓🐓🐓, here are three GIFTS: 🎄🧑🏽‍🎄🎄☃️❄️

Six years ago I responded to a call made by McGraw Hill seeking hosts for their newly formed podcast series, Marketing Insights. They asked for a completed application. Despite having ZERO experience hosting a podcast, I submitted two completed episodes instead. The McGraw Hill Marketing Director who HEARD me was Nicole Young. She hired me immediately. Today she’s one of my marketing sisters! ❤️

GIFT #1: DO IT AFRAID

Today, I am not only celebrating my 50th episode, but also the fact that Marketing Insights has held the #1 podcast spot since its second year of inception. My current McGraw Hill Higher Education Marketing muse Michelle Sweeden has expanded my role to include webinars, vlogs, and blogs, with other opportunities on the horizon! We bring the peanut butter and jam to this juncture, don’t we Michelle?

However, none of this would be possible if not for that ONE person who was willing to blast me out of the broadcasting rocket. And he did so without hesitation. This is OUR celebration, Matthew Cunningham. You are a scholar and a gentleman.
