AVISION Magazine Issue #2 was released October/November 2011, on the cover we added unsigned R&B artist Stephen Micheal. Also featured in this issue were Antwon Bailey, Malika Kmari and Gifted Apparel just to name a few. The photoshoot took place on Jay Street in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Reflecting back on this particular issue we struggled with finishing this issue, while completing it one of our dearest friends past away from cancer. As much as we wanted to quit her love and motivation kept us pushing forward.

Every Issue had a title and a description, #2 was titled “Sounds of NY” Music can be an escape from your problems; music is a way of expressing and telling your story. Music has no color...In this issue remember that art has no boundaries...whether it’s music, literature, photography, blogging or even spinning records, remain true to yourself and keep repping the "Sounds of NY"

Thank you to everyone who were featured in “Sounds of NY” you definitely made it special.

The beginning: Our first official magazine issue done July 2011, putting this issue together had to be by far the most rewarding experience ever but the same time nerve reckoning. We had no clue what we were doing but the VISION behind it was very clear, the goal was always to give unsigned artists and entrepreneurs a platform to be heard. At the time, well established magazines only featured celebrities, we wanted to change that and we did.

This particular cover was shot in Dumbo, Brooklyn in front of the historic Empire Stores was a formed warehouse complex, which is now the Timeout Market. If you look closely behind the photo of Tyson Kruze, you can see Talib Kweli (done by:The Dude Company)

We would like to Thank everyone who had a part in putting this issue together.

We are back!!! Yes, We are back for good. As our post states, Reset. Restart. Refocus, As many times as you need to! Listen, we did just that. We as entrepreneurs struggle every day. The difficulties we encounter are REAL and having the knowledge ahead of time is important for anyone who is thinking of starting a business. No matter what you study or read about when it pertains to your business you will face many obstacles.
 
Just keep in mind you are not alone because we all struggle and face unforeseen challenges when it comes to running a business.
