an’s love for the arts, music and photography and more specifically genres that fuse styles and amalgamate sights and sounds permeate through his work. The musical influences of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Roy Ayers, the cinematic genius of Oscar Micheaux and Spike Lee and the work of noted iconoclastic photographers such as Gordon Parks and Blue Note's Francis Wolff serve as the foundations of his visual breadth and guide Muhammad in carving out and defining an optical voice all his own for his generation and time. Armed with a Nikon D7000 and a thirst for capturing the moment in motion, he can be commissioned to do private photo shoots as well as large gatherings, special events and private sessions, stills and moving pictures.
