Ready to meet Ghostface himself this weekend? Here are the deets from Awaken Haunted Attraction!
IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO MEET LEE WADDELL AT AWAKEN THIS WEEKEND, READ THIS! Lee Waddell, aka Ghostface in the original Scream, will be at Awaken Haunted Attraction! We've had a ton of questions about how to meet Lee, so here are some of our common answers.
Lee will be available for meet & greet on THREE NIGHTS! Friday 10/11, Saturday 10/12, and Sunday 10/13. We are expecting massive crowds, which may impact wait times. However, you can now purchase beer and alcoholic cider - including our limited edition Screamtober cider from Boss - while you wait!
Your purchase of a General Admission or Fast Pass ticket to the haunt INCLUDES meeting Lee Waddell! You will wait in line to go through the haunt, then get into line to meet Lee after. If you would like to meet Lee but do not wish to go through the haunt, you still have to purchase a ticket to enter the venue.
The difference between General Admission and Fast Pass is your wait time. The Fast Pass ticket gets you into the shorter line to go through the haunt. However, the Fast Pass status only applies to the haunt - there is only one line to meet Lee, and your Fast Pass ticket does not get you to the front of his line.
When you arrive, you will get in line at our ticket booth. If you purchased your tickets online, you still need to go to the ticket booth so that we can verify your purchase and get your actual ticket. You can also purchase a ticket with cash or credit card at the ticket booth. Once you have your tickets, you will enter the haunt and get into the General Admission or Fast Pass line. We do have indoor waiting if we have inclement weather. However, if it is raining hard and heavy or there is slippery mud that makes it unsafe to walk through, our outdoor section may be closed.
Autographs will be available for purchase directly through Lee - he sets his own prices and is not affiliated with the haunt. His pricing is as follows (and is subject to change):
Table-side Selfie = $20
30 second Video Shout-Out = $30
Autograph (of personal item or 8"x10" print) = $40
Selfie & Autograph Combo = $50
Selfie, Autograph, & Video Shout-Out = $60
You may bring items for Lee to sign, but remember that you have to carry them through the haunt with you. We do not have a place to store them for you, and there is no re-entry allowed once you have exited the building. Lee does charge for each item signed, so keep that in mind when bringing items to be autographed. For the safety of our patrons, metal weapons (butcher knives, etc.) WILL NOT be allowed inside the building. Also, we do not allow you to wear costumes, masks, or any makeup/face paint that obscures your face. Awaken is not responsible for any lost or damaged items brought into the building.
Stop by the bathroom before heading into the building. Once inside, it will be very difficult to navigate through the crowds, and it will cause you to lose your place in line. Also, party responsibly! Patrons who have partied a little too hard will be asked to leave and denied further alcohol purchases, for the safety of our actors, and yourselves! And always remember that there is no touching of the actors or props.
