We're fighting cancer with METAL!

Michigan Metal Fest and Q106 Present:
🤛MOSHIGAN🤛
This this is our first annual cancer benefit event, hosted at The Music Factory in Battle Creek, Michigan. All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the beneficiary that was selected this year. We will be selling tickets and will also be selling catering plates at the event with the proceeds going to the beneficiary. This is a high impact event, so please come join us and help us make a huge difference in someone's life!

Our beneficiary has asked to remain anonymous but we would like to give you a little more information. She is a Barry County native, she is 37 years old, she has a husband and two children. She is currently in her 3rd round of Chemo for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer, one of the most aggressive forms of Breast Cancer. We appreciate any and all efforts to help launch this show and to continue it as an annual event to benefit cancer patients.

Heartbreaking news from Voraath .

Drunk driving is not a victimless crime.

Woke up to hear the horrible news about the passing of our dear friend, drummer Joshua Nassaru Ward of Voraath. Our deepest condolences go to his family, friends, and bandmates. Josh was killed by a drunk driver in an accident last night. A great drummer and a really good person.

Josh will also be missed by his community who he helped by delivering goods and services to people stranded in remote areas after the recent floods. He looked out for everyone. R.I.P.

RIP Paul Di'Anno.

Monday 21st October 2024

We are all deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Paul Di'Anno earlier today. Paul's contribution to Iron Maiden was immense and helped set us on the path we have been travelling as a band for almost five decades. His pioneering presence as a frontman and vocalist, both on stage and on our first two albums, will be very fondly remembered not just by us, but by fans around the world.

“It’s just so sad he’s gone,” comments Steve Harris. “I was in touch with him only recently as we texted each other about West Ham and their ups and downs. At least he was still gigging until recently, it was something that kept him going, to be out there whenever he could. He will be missed by us all. Rest in peace mate ⚒⚒.”

We were very grateful to have had the chance to catch up a couple of years ago and to spend time with him once more. On behalf of the band, Rod and Andy, and the whole Iron Maiden team, we extend our deepest sympathies to Paul's family and close friends. Rest In Peace Paul.
