đź—ŁAre you staying quiet because you're afraid people will think you're a "bitch"?
Did you know that it's actually your biology that keeps you muzzled?
See, a long time ago, back when we were primitive humans, survival depended on keeping things copasetic within the tribe. If you were seen as someone who caused problems, chances were good they might abandon you to die.
We don't run the same risk of dying by abandonment anymore, but that survival instinct is still there.
👉So how do we override this instinct so we can get our voice heard and our needs met?
EMOTIONAL REGULATION.
Regulating the nervous system is important work for any self-improvement - and it's something we practice in my program, Identity.
The fact is, we can't make any kind of big change from a dysregulated state. In fact, just doing this work to regulate our nervous system will shift the things that make you feel anxious, nervous or out of control.
