Now streaming! Say It Again is the 4th and final single from Pat Van Dyke’s () forthcoming Falls To Pieces LP. A reflective, melancholy, and infectious track that serves as the album’s fitting closer.

The slow-build, mid-tempo instrumental features Brooklyn-based pianist Jesse Fischer () riding ever so high on the foundation of Van Dyke’s gospel-influenced harmony, two-step inspiring bass lines, lilting piano melody, and lush horn arrangements.

Psychedelic and distorted guitar lines appear mid-way through the song’s delicate melody, turning things up a notch and creating a launchpad for Fischer’s inspired Wurlitzer Electric Piano solo.

Balancing the bounce of golden-era hip-hop, while embracing the harmonic complexity and melodic subtlety of jazz; Say It Again is, without a doubt, THE defining cut off of Van Dyke’s Falls To Pieces LP.

Saturated drums recorded on an analog tape machine compliment psychedelic synth lines, percussive horns and interwoven guitars–while the syncopated melody floats atop the foundation of funk. An outlier on the new record; Vibrate Higher embraces the peculiar and combines many influences from Dilla to P-Funk.
