I’m 28 years old. I love Jesus with my whole life. I’m originally from Southern CA but I now live in the beautiful city of Nashville, TN. I am a musicianary in the band Water Within and I also love purple flowers, tacos and Welsch Corgis. The Refining Garden Podcast was never something I had planned for myself. I have always known I was supposed to sing and have some sort of life connected to it t

hrough ministry, but teaching and speaking was not on the list. Back in 2015 after I had finished singing for a Sunday morning concert in Niagara Falls, NY, a teenage girl came up to me and asked if I had ever thought of doing a podcast. I laughed and politely said no throwing the idea out of my heart and mind. But little did I know, God had used that girl to spark a thought in me that would soon turn into a reality a little over a year later. The Refining Garden is a place where we can all learn from one another while we uncover the depth and beauty of a life fully surrendered to Jesus. I have been through enough to know that resisting the opportunity to be refined is a mistake. Embracing the fullness of your relationship with Christ means looking towards him in every season, and entrusting every piece of your heart to his careful process. Hopefully, together, we will understand that refinement is a gift and one to look forward to as proof of the nearness of God. Don't worry, this podcast will not be so serious all the time. But it will challenge us all to fall in love with the Refiner as we learn to recognize him in every moment. So if you're game, follow me. Follow me to The Refining Garden.
