Eastfield Foundation donates flat screen TV, others to Adinkrom KG
The corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Eastfield Farms, Eastfield Foundation, has presented 42" LED TV, other educational materials and oranges to Adinkrom D/A Kindergarten in the Birim South district in the Eastern region of Ghana.
The swift donation from Eastfield Foundation was a response to a letter from the district Education director, Henry Theodore Sintim, requesting for a television set to facilitate audio-visual teaching and and learning at the kindergarten.
The installed flat screen TV and dish, exercise books, pencils, erasers, and five hundred fresh organically produced oranges were presented to the facility Monday, March 04, 2024.
Receiving the items from Eastfield Foundation, headmaster of Adinkrom D/A Basic School, Eugene Wirehene Asamoah, on behalf of the Education directorate, expressed their gratitude to Eastfield Foundation for doing more than they requested for to improve audio-visual teaching and learning and well-being of the KG children.
Farm manager of Eastfield Farms, Sam Dokyi, on behalf of Eastfield Foundation, urged the school management to ensure high sense of culture of care and maintenance and effective and efficient use of the items. He also advised the children to study very hard to make the foundation and the entire nation proud.
Also at the presentation was the School Improvement Support Officer (SISO) for Aduasa "A" Circuit, Moses Odame.
Eastfield Foundation, with its partner Orange Growers Association (OGA), has, over the years, been very consistent in its CSR to schools and health facilities in Achiase and neighbouring districts. Eastfield Foundation is the brain behind One Student, One Orange (Orange Wednesday) and Grow To Consume initiatives.
