For any of you guys going back to listen to old episodes, you may notice that as of today, only three episodes are available now from The Kick Inside season: The Man with the Child In His Eyes, Wuthering Heights, and the title track.

That's because I'm planning to go back and redo those episodes!

You don't have to tell me: I know those episodes were a little rough. I've been wanting to redo that first season for quite a while now anyway. I didn't know other Kate fans at the time, so that's why the first season went the way it did.

Now that I have a good friend who is also a KB fan, it's time to redo that season to give it the attention it deserves :) Zoey and I are working now on redoing those episodes together, so be expecting those to come out next year!

Now that we've danced a bit, it's time to get a little emotional with the single Moments of Pleasure. Released as a single in late 1993, Moments of Pleasure is a beloved song by many a Kate fan and it's not hard to see why. Emotional lyrics? Check. Sweeping string arrangement? Check. Amazing vocal performance? Oh yeah! Big check right there!

In this episode, Cecilee talks with Rick Campbell again about this song's history, what it means to us, and hwo the song has grown with us as we've gotten older. So time to get a little reflective and hey, while you're at it, can you turn the lights up?

One of my favorite pieces of KB memorabilia is the Moments of Pleasure CD single I bought online about ten years ago. I bought it because it’s one of my top 10 KB songs but also because it had an exclusive b-side that I had never heard before and couldn’t find anywhere else in those pre-streaming days: Show a Little Devotion!

And now it's time for the b-sides, collaborations, and other era songs for The Sensual World era of Kate's music. This week, we're talking about a song that's both a b-side AND an album track. Or at least, a bonus track, if you bought the cassette or the CD. And that is a song that Kate recorded in about 24 hours (!!) and was the last song recorded for the album: Walk Straight Down The Middle.

We have a frequent guest for this show, young Kate fan Diego Ortega, to talk about this song, which he cites as one of his favorites! We talk about what this song means to us. What does the title mean? And how about that rather skeletal and spooky production? Is this Kate's take on synth pop? And how about those BRAAAAAHHHH sounds at the end?
