Cooking.
Cooking for me is like a "drug"

A day I was going to the bank
And I passed through the mokolo market.
There was this hair vendor who kept pursuing me,
She was screaming: madam came and do your hair..
I told her in a very low tune: I'm not here to do my hair.
She continued pressuring me,
This Time around,
Madam then buy this wig, it'll make you look beautiful
Seriously??
So what do I have on my head??
Grass? Or is it not hair??
I had a neatly done hair twist,
But according to her,
It wasn't hair enough.
We have been taught to love what is not and will never be ours
More than what is actually ours.
Work on yours and make it your best.

One thing I've learnt in life is ; never be too fast to judge or conclude.
Most times when you allow your emotions take a full ride over your reasoning ability,
You definitely end up just acting according to those emotions.
I've had one of such devastating moments when I was expecting to meet with a friend at a particular time of the evening.
It was for a business purpose by the way.
I waited tirelessly at the agreed spot and after about 2hours, I got so angry.
Tried calling him to no avail,
At a point I angrily sent him a very bitter text message through WhatsApp then left the spot back to my house.
I was filled with shock when we met the next day and he told me that the very minute we finished concluding on a venue, thieves dealt away with his phone.
Oops! I was so Ashamed of my reaction and felt bad about his phone.
That day I learnt that in every situation I should learn to hold my peace, stay calm
And never be too quick to conclude.
