WEEP WAVE’s newest single; Rebirth Mantra is finally here for your ears!
Fuentes' lyrical prowess oscillates between two contrasting realms, either projecting outward to explore broad concepts like the perils of capitalism and climate change, or plunge inward to scrutinize the self. His forte lies in dissecting the ego and self-identity. Lead single “Rebirth Mantra” is one of those moments.
Amidst a pummeling riff, Fuentes unravels his fears of falling into the same patterns that have failed him before. In this introspective journey, he envisions a transformed version of himself—one that is "cool, calm, collected" and "present without fear."
It's a manifestation, conjuring a more courageous, caring, and empathetic self, free from hesitation. It's a spiritual rejuvenation, a resonant chord that strikes a universal note, reminding us all of the quest for a better version of ourselves.
Fuentes has this to say about the song:
“‘Rebirth Mantra’ is a song about what kind of person you want to be if you had a chance to start things over again. A big theme in the album is that everything repeats and tries to manifest the version of life that you want to actually want to live within these cycles. Going into the studio, we didn't expect this song to turn out to be one of the strongest songs on the album.”

New single by Trans Future is out NOW!
“Better Days” by Trans Future is available to stream everywhere. This is the second single released off of their forthcoming full length album titled, ” Scream On The Inside.”
Julien Luebbers of The Spokesman Review writes: “The song is a careful combination of restraint and explosion speckled with silences and pared back moments, but all of which exist in contrast to the booming, driving chorus. Vocalist Kateena Bell drives the track’s energetic movements, but the drums, played by Jesse Rockwood, tie the sections together.
As much as this track might rock, guitarist Chris Knudson was keen to point out that it also rolls: “Rock is only half of rock and roll. We wanted to bring a little more roll into the sound.” That roll comes from the guitars and bouncing bass of Jason Ward. It’s a synergistic, powerful combination for the band. “We’ve all cylinders firing,” Rockwood said.”
