Since the Spring of 2010, Rockwired Media LLC has produced online radio programming highlighting the very best in independent music. Now, the New Mexico-based production company is taking that mission a step further in the launch of a new daily online radio show to add to the roster of the web radio station Rockwired.com. te surroundings – the State of New Mexico. “Rockwired has been doing business in this State for almost three years and I feel its time that we produced something geared towards music lovers here in New Mexico.” says Rockwired founder Brian Lush “This brand new show will feature music makers of all genres here in New Mexico and will profile national acts passing through.”
The 505 Rocks will be a daily 30-35 minute online radio show which will premiere on Monday, January 2, 2012.A new edition will be uploaded to Rockwired.com every Monday through Friday and will feature music and exclusive interviews with local artists or national artists touring through New Mexico. Once uploaded, a show can be listened to at anytime and be available for download. “That is the beauty of this whole thing!” exclaims Lush. “No one has to miss a show or be somewhere at a certain time. It's a listening experience that you can take with you wherever you go.”
Rockwired.com is powered by Rockwired Media LLC and hosts three other shows; Rockwired Radio Profiles, Aboriginal Sounds – A Celebration of Contemporary Native Music and Jazzed and Blue – Profiles in Blues and Jazz. “I'm truly excited by this upcoming addition to the Rockwired roster and feel that this will be something new and different for New Mexico.”
