Formed in 1993 whilst members were still in secondary school. The band was mainly influenced by bands such as Carcass, Death and Cannibal Co**se. Many years later, they are now reformed quote before we all die.

Our Spotlight band/artist of the week is Galway atmospheric black metal project, Atlantic.

Beginning as Astrurda in 2018, Callan Hoy quickly progressed to the Nature Themed atmospheric black metal project Foothill Roots later that year.

Post Covid, he changed the style and tone slightly of his musical endeavours. Atlantic has a more oceanic and windswept feel to it than the woodland tones of his previous releases.
