It is known to many people that there is a certain level of corruption going on in our countrys' political system, and also in many others around the world. Money, production, and resources is what it all seems to boil down to, and it's apparent that "We the People" have been and are being mislead nearly every time we turn around. We're playing a game of catch-up on who's who and how they are conn
ected to what's what. It is now apparent that our Country is under a Plutocracy - a government run by money. Our wealthiest 1% have control over most of the decisions being made regarding laws affecting the lives of the working-class and low-class citizens. It's now apparent that money can and does influence political elections through corporate lobbying - donations that they expect might sway the politicians agenda to benefit the company. Both benefit, but at the expense of the other 99% of people, other countries people, and our planet. Once we see this, we can look back and see the many systems in place designed to keep the rich rich and the poor poor. We at WTLF, are educating ourselves everyday and bringing our knowledge to the people in hopes that we can find a way to turn this around. It will not be easy. The first step is to educate.
