On Monday we are donating all sales revenue to date from our Blind Summit EP and Blind Summit REWORKED to the incredible collective

Misery are a mental health collective and sober club night centring healing for queer/trans/nb POC. Please follow, share and spread their work. If you haven’t bought either of our EPs yet, this weekend is a good time to do so. All of the money will go straight to Misery to help them continue growing and building their community and network and creating the much needed safe spaces that they make possible. Please share and spread the word.

Today I release my song Body Memory, featuring the inimitable on cello 💙

At the end of 2020 I was in a very dark place, at the tail end of a lot of grief. Then in January 2021, I went to a park nearby to meet up with my friend Jo for the first time in a couple of years, as he had recently moved to London. The park we met in held a lot of significance around a relationship that had just ended for me, and this heartbreak was a large source of the darkness I was navigating at that time. I hadn’t been back to that park since the break up as it felt so triggering.

Connecting with Jo that day, I immediately knew that a very special friendship was beginning, and the old memories of the park were replaced with new hope. As I cycled home, I started singing a melody: “New memory, write over the body memory”. I immediately sat down and started recording when I got home. The resulting song looks at creating new memories over old painful ones, and particularly how that relates to my experience of body memory and dysphoria as a trans person. It is beautiful to look back at this song, written a year and a half ago, and be in a so much stronger place. Knowing both how time has healed me and the process of creating this song helped so much.

I asked the hugely talented Mabe Fratti to play cello on the song, and it felt very fitting for Jo ( ) to mix it. It was mastered by the wonderful .glare at Declared Sound. Lastly, a huge thanks to Erin at for your work & support ✨

This song is the first release out on the little label side of my ‘Desire Lines’ project, that launched in 2020 with a compilation release, which I first got to know Mabe through when she contributed a track. Full circle 🌀

Working on a new live set for a festival slot near Tokyo at the end of the month. Up in the mountains with a hot spring spa. Yes please! Can’t wait to share it in person ❤️🏔
