Inviting you all at the launch of Shohaag- a Tas Initiative's Kolkata Outlet at Purna Das Road, Kolkata on 25th August.
Shohaag is an all inclusive sustainable fashion brand, launching exclusive designs and cuts in pure cotton fabrics, and also showcasing the sewing traditions and small cottage industries of Bengal.
We began this journey with a commitment to women empowerment, providing skill development training and employment opportunities for underprivileged women at the grassroot level.
Since 2018, we have received immense support from our patrons, who have relentlessly supported us in executing our vision of ensuring financial independence for women.
The Pandemic has made it more evident that sustainable economy is the future. Therefore, we have pledged to empower women from backward classes and below-poverty-line with tools and training so that they can contribute to the microeconomic growth of our society as well as elevate the traditional crafts and skills to global standards.
On the auspicious occasion of embarking on this new chapter, we seek all of your gracious presence and encouragement! We are also looking forward to meeting new patrons, receive valuable feedbacks on our ideas and implementations.
The ceremony will be inaugurated by Sanjay K Thade, Principal Secretary of West Bengal Backward Classes & Welfare Department.
