📍GOLDFIELD’S REGION
Free camp for the night, before we hit the Nullarbor tomorrow.
📍SURFERS POINT / MARGARET RIVER MEETS INDIAN OCEAN
How gorgeous is this beach. Lots of little pools around the reefs. Dog friendly beach.
Down the other end was the Margaret river connecting to the beach (Indian ocean). We are absolutely loving this town.

📍Injidup natural spa
This beautiful natural spa is caused by waves from the Indian Ocean crashing over rocks and creating a hidden rock pool and mini waterfall. Depending on the tide, the waterfall may be gushing, or just a small trickle.
📍BUSSELTON JETTY
THE BUSSELTON JETTY BEGAN IN 1865
Extending 1.841 kilometres over the protected waters of Geographe Bay, the heritage listed Busselton Jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere and is home to one of six Underwater Observatories in the world!
📍PINNACLE’S
one of Australia’s most unique and fascinating natural landscapes. Formed over millions of years, thousands of tall limestone spires rise eerily out of the yellow desert sands of Nambung National Park, just outside the coastal town of Cervantes.
📍 QUOBBA BLOW HOLES
Quick little stop over for the night. Great camp spot. they allow dogs. And you choose where you want to pull up. For $11 pp it’s a great stop over.
📍CORAL BAY
Our adventure to coral bay. We took on the Coral bay track, as the Ningaloo road is closed due to sand blowing over the road.
What a track is all we have to say 🫣it feels like it doesn’t end, dusty, tight, corrugated, and not the best way to take.
We got through it after 7 hours!! But with a very dirty Ute and caravan, and a few extra pin stripes to add to the memories. 😬
It’s all part of the experience. As much as we thought the track wasn’t going to end, this is a day we will never forget.
📍Winderabandi point 🐢🏝️🦑🪸🐠
We are absolutely in awe of this water. How gorgeous!! Last night we got to watch turtles hatch, what an amazing day we had.
📍EXMOUTH
Bit of exploring to start our new year off ☀️

📍🌿 KALBARRI NATIONAL PARK
Kalbarri National Park surrounds the lower reaches of the Murchison River. The river has cut a magnificent 80km gorge through the red and white banded sandstone. Perched right on the cliff top the two platforms of the Kalbarri Skywalk jut out over the gorge. The views from the Skywalk are incredible.
How gorgeous are these colours 😍😍

🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄
📍 HYDEN | WAVE ROCK | LAKE MAGIC
Wave rock is a curved granite cliff face, actually the northern face of a large granite erosional remnant called Hyden Rock. This curved cliff face, resembling a wave about to break, is 15 m high and 110 m long. It has been rounded by weathering and water erosion,
undercutting its base and leaving a rounded overhang. Water from springs active in the wetter months runs down the cliff face, dissolving and re-depositing chemicals in the granite, leaving red, brown, yellow and grey stains of carbonates and iron hydroxide. Its age has been estimated at about 2700 million years.
The lake has a gypsum minerals base and is surrounded by sand, making it a pretty sight. The lake’s colours change beautifully as the sun rises and sets, creating a magical atmosphere that attracts many visitors. Furthermore, Lake Magic is known as Australia’s Floating Salt Lake due to its unique properties.
The water in Lake Magic appears clear, and the lake gets its name for its high salt density. This hypersaline lake is so dense that it makes it nearly impossible for people to sink! In fact, its therapeutic properties and buoyancy are greater than that of the Dead Sea!!

🤩 CAPE LE GRAND NATIONAL PARK 🤩
Cape Le Grand National Park was voted 8th place in the Top 10 Beaches in the South Pacific.
There aren’t too many places in Australia where kangaroos sun-bake on the beach. Lucky Bay is home to a colony of friendly kangaroos which are often seen soaking up the sun. It also offers a great camp site and picnic area with beachside views.
This pristine park near Esperance is known for its stunning scenery and peaceful beaches where you can go swimming, bush-walking, fishing and camping.
The landscape changes from massive granite outcrops to freshwater pools and unbelievably white sandy beaches with views over many islands.
📍ESPERANCE DAY 1
Today we went on the “great ocean drive” how gorgeous are these beaches!!
Esperance’s Great Ocean Drive is a 40 kilometre circular loop to explore by car that features a vast range of coastal elements such as stunning beaches, rocky headlands, small bays, steep cliffs and hidden ocean pools.
