BYE BYE TSUNAMI – the meth-metal, post-mental, future jazz trio from planet 無 – presents a new video for “Overture / Breakfast,” which opens their new Eating EP, nearing release on October 4th.

The trio collectively offers, “This is the inaugural anthem for the 3 Moons Celebration of the Dog-Gods on Planet WU無; the elite partake in the consumption of the forbidden fruit in front of the entire populace, while the monks intone a propitiatory chant for a prosperous new life-cycle. The lyrics of the chant ‘Eating Pussy for Breakfast’ were initially supposed to be the title of the EP, although we later opted to change that for commercial reasons. This sentence was whispered into L.’s ears during a night of insomnia. Later that morning, he did not understand the meaning of his vision until he came across Frances Lili Farmer’s work. Everything finally made sense, pushing our hero to pursue the realization of this masterpiece.”
Nefarious Industries welcomes the return of BYE BYE TSUNAMI – the meth-metal, post-mental, future jazz trio from planet 無.
With their second EP, Eating, the band promises massive meth-metal beats, dehumanized hopeless voices, eclectic noisy influences, glitchy electronics, and various other innovative elements, all appropriately complimented with exclusive artwork created by illustrator Frances Lili Farmer. The futuristic perspectives and hidden mystical layers contained within this peculiar narrative explore a realm of absurd hypothetical faraway planets, weaving a subtle double meaning that surprisingly mirrors the realities and issues of our times.
The first course from the EP reaches the population through a video filmed and directed by Yunyen Chuang for its title track, the band noting, “With the incredible collaboration of Manlio Maresca on guitar and Sigurd Neimann on vocals, ‘Eating’ is a visceral complaint about all the challenges we are forced to endure every day for the rest of our lives.”
In this work BYE BYE TSUNAMI delves deeper into their distinctive sound signature anchored by the Flaubosax. By generating new soundscapes through a personal asymmetrical tonal system and intertwining them with intricate and powerful drum rhythms, they guide the music through disrupted forms and post-industrial spiritual textures. In a collaborative endeavor for this project, the band has joined forces with other avant-garde artists proficient in vocals, guitar, electronics, and visual arts. This synergy of talents results in a truly unique audiovisual package, setting the stage for a captivating and boundary-pushing musical experience.
Embodied by Nathan L. (flaubosax, flute, electronics), Søren Høi (drums), and Uldis Vitol (bass), BYE BYE TSUNAMI infuses guest guitar from Manlio Maresca on one song, and guest vocals from the likes of Sigurd Neimann, Francesco Colocci, Neker, and Sabiwa throughout the record. Eating was mixed and mastered by Marco Col
Watch MIRACLE BLOOD’s "Phenomenon" as the Boston noise-rock trio prepare for an East Coast tour and the release of their impending second album later this year!
MIRACLE BLOOD’s Andrew Wong reveals, “‘Phenomenon’ is about how overwhelming being ‘plugged in’ in the modern world can be. We basically have all the knowledge ever at our fingertips, but it comes at us at a break-neck pace. Our attention is vied for 24/7 as we’re blasted with news, advertising, pop culture, and even misinformation at any given second. We see tragedies around the globe happen in real time and then it’s on to the next thing before we can even process it. There are so many things in the world that need help, need fixing. But, meanwhile, we have our own lives to survive and, hopefully, enjoy. It can be paralyzing, and you end up feeling guilty about not knowing about or doing more. I think this is something many people experience, but it doesn’t get addressed often.”
Decibel Magazine writes, “The two-minute track gets in and out quickly, the band making no time in making their point by mixing their melodic punk core with some mathy instrumental performances. By no means are MIRACLE BLOOD a mathcore band, but the riff that occurs around 1:10 suggests that the New England metalcore DNA is inside the trio. The accompanying video affirms their sense of fun, which really makes MIRACLE BLOOD the whole package.”

BANGLADEAFY's forthcoming album Vulture presents the duo in their purest form at the crossroads of organic and electronic expression, exemplified perfectly in new single "Pastures." Fecking Bahamas describes the track as "an angry screed of poetry with sparse, dislocated drums and some pretty radical synth stabs." Vulture will be released June 21 on limited edition CD/Cassette.
"House of 1000 Corners" by garage/math-rock duo F**k Your Birthday is single #7 from NEF100: Burn After Hearing and is accompanied by a live video filmed at The Shrine, Shanghai, China.

Guitarist/vocalist Christopher Henry elaborates, “Stubbing your toe f**king sucks, almost as much as birthdays! So, equipped with inspiration, we wrote ‘House of 1000 Corners.’ It’s about a dude that stubs his toe in the middle of the night and then goes on a maniacal mission to rid his whole house of any and all corners. There’s just one problem, while cutting off one corner, our dude has actually made two! The lesson here is that sometimes when you try to eliminate problems from your life, you just end up with more problems. You’re better off accepting it and just being more careful next time. Try focusing on the positive aspects of your life instead of making more corners to kill yourself on.”
NEF100: Burn After Hearing celebrates 100 catalog releases with exclusive tracks from EL DRUGSTORE, ARBOGAST, NEQUIENT, RISK RELAY, GRIDFAILURE, THE DRX, ZEVIOUS, PSYCHOSOMATIC, BEDTIMEMAGIC, GEMATRIA, ZVI, F**K YOUR BIRTHDAY, CINEMA CINEMA, and HUMANS ETCETERA.
The compilation was marstered by Colin Marston at Menegroth, the Thousand Caves in Queens, NY, and the collage artwork was handled by Eric Nyffeler.

NYC troupe MAC GOLLEHON & THE HISPANIC MECHANICS presents a new video for the title track to their latest avant jazz fusion LP, Bite of the Street, released last September on limited edition Black Vinyl and now also available on CD, as well as all streaming platforms.
https://www.nefariousindustries.com/nef-99
@macgollehon
The new video for the album’s title track is an ode to GOLLEHON’s prolific and rigorous performance schedule, the artist performing several times per week across and surrounding the city. All five boroughs of NYC are represented in the video, including performance footage from the album’s release show in the Fall. The video was filmed, directed, and edited by David Brenner with additional footage by Carol Barnhart and MAC GOLLEHON himself.
GOLLEHON states, “Brenner sent us the final cut of the video and wrote, ‘All five boroughs are repped here. This is more NYC than playing chess with a crew of cabbies, a street poet, and a coked-up hand model wearing knockoff Chanel from Canal Street in Washington Square Park eating lox bagels and halal kabobs with St. Ides from a paper bag while blasting Run DMC;’ I agree!”
Bite Of The Street is an explosive, groove-saturated party album that slams both feet to the gas pedal from its opening notes and never lets up. Fusing heavy soul and jazz with Latin dance grooves, synth-drenched dirges, a multi-percussionist attack, and more energy than a supernova, the six movements showcase GOLLEHON’s searing brass attack, with stacks of layered and intertwined trumpet igniting every moment of the album.
MAC GOLLEHON, who has toured the planet and has played on thousands of records, including over two-hundred gold and platinum albums since the 1970s. He’s widely known for his mainstream contributions on chart-topping albums including Onyx’s Bacdafucup, Blondie’s The Hunter, David Bowie’s Let’s Dance, Billy Ocean’s “Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car,” as well as records from Madonna
Bangladeafy strikes again...
New York City synthpunk/industrial duo BANGLADEAFY today drops a new single, “Whisper Rat,” and a corresponding video for the song.
https://www.nefariousindustries.com/whisper-rat
A stepping stone to bridge the gap between BANGLADEAFY’s 2020 Housefly LP and their impending fifth album now under construction for release in 2024, “Whisper Rat” takes the carnivorous synth lines and aggressive drumming that the band established on Housefly and combines them with a fleshy lyrical experience. A far cry away from the once instrumental bass/drum noise duo, this song marks a step in a mature direction for BANGLADEAFY.
Atif Haq’s drums on “Whisper Rat” were recorded by Mike Gatto, while Jon Ehlers self-recorded the synth and vocals. The track was mixed by Jonathan Vergara at Pancake Studios and mastered by Damien Moffitt, and the video for the song was created by Asmara Studio.

9/12/2023 Hart Bar – Brooklyn w/ Murderpact, Body Stuff, Contract
