Mainers hoping for relief at the gas pump will be disappointed to hear that Democrat Leaders Troy Jackson and Ryan Fecteau killed the bill without even allowing it to be put forward and debated.

It would have saved Mainers about 30 cents per gallon at the pump.

It won’t ever be debated or voted on in Augusta after top Dem Leaders refused to allow the proposal to even be considered by a top leadership panel.
